Short you need to discern the important difference between two important words.

I understand this to be an untruthful statement by you as the tender process has not been completed.

The GOT are committed to a mix of energy resources across the country to mitigate risk. Has this strategic imperative been changed?

Are you posting as a bitter and twisted former investor who lost a lot of cash on here, or as someone who wants to get back in at a lot lower price, if he can, to offset those losses?

I suggest, not advise, as I am not Lurker. That you may find that this week could be the lowest price you get, or, if SEPCO delay further, then you may get an even better price. I would not hold my breath on either option.

Anyway you look at it, it just looks plain sad.

Well at long last Coetzee has said something sensible.
A report in the US states renewable energy plants can cost half that of coal powered plants. About $50 per MW/h, that's 5 cents per kW/h compared to $102 per MW/h for coal. ( although KIBO could probably produce slightly cheaper in Tanzania).
Plus renewable prices are set to fall a lot further over the next few years.
So ignoring the environmental impact of coal, it makes economic sense to go for renewables.
Now we can see why Tanesco didn't want to sign a 25 year PPA with KIBO locking them into paying for over priced electricity until 2050.

But if they announce another SEPCO delay or if they have to raise or accept offer at or below market price of 2p you just know there will be those that say 'I have sold and only left a sum in for a gamble' when they are the same ones whom have been telling every one else to buy it such a bargain price but why are they not the ones buying?
