I've always been fair Twangers. Its just there's been very little to be 'fair' about (in a positive way) where Kibo is concerned.

To be fair to Kibo - lets think where biomass fuels come from. How can a regular supply be assured to run a 300mW station (which is a lot of sutff to burn)? After all, coal is right there in the ground, with a dependable calorific valueand certainty of mining. Any government power offtaker needs rock solid assurances that the power will be sustained 24/7 for up to 25 years.

What are the 6 main types of biomass fuel?
Woody Fuels. Wood wastes of all types make excellent biomass fuels and can be used in a wide variety of biomass technologies. ...
Forestry Residues. ...
Mill Residues. ...
Agricultural Residues. ...
Urban Wood and Yard Wastes. ...
Dedicated Biomass Crops. ...
Chemical Recovery Fuels. ...
Animal Wastes.

Kibo would need to provide detailed plans for what it needs, where it is going to come from over 25 years, how is its cost to be guaranteed (unlke Kibo's own coal in the ground) so that it can also guarantee the price at which it will sell power to offtakers over the whole of its life (and so that funders can be sure of its profitability also over all of its life) . It all seems a tall order.
But WDIK Perhaps LC does. There are other biofuels projects but not sure how dependable thay have proved to be.
On top, the cost is going to be phenomenal v Kibo's market cap and issued shares. If he were to be sensible, he would start it via a new shiny limousine and not on the luggage rack of an old clapped out jalopy.

The more shocking thing is that he wants to replace a director that's 'retiring' immediately whose contributed nothing and was brought in for coal plants (ex NCCL). Why when they are so cash strapped!

Kibo's 'biofuels' hopes. Question 1) where is the amount of biofuel needed to run a 300MW power station to come from ? No mention by LC so far. The rationale for the Mbeya plant was its location on top of Kibo's coal depoosit.
2) The 'high' profitabilty forMbeya once touted by LC was because it already owned the coal ! Power stations in themselves aren't particularly profitable. There is no other market for coal that Kibo could sell to in exchange for biofuel. So how much is buying the latter going to detract from that original 'profitability' ?
3) Whatever - its all going to take more time than the jalopy can last.

Another RNS that says 'blah blah blah......'. I think LC decided a long time ago that RNSs are a substitute for actually achieving anything.

Anyone seen this: from AR
"
MED’s current flagship producing asset, the 9 MW Pyebridge Synchronous Gas-powered Flexible Generation Facility(the 'Site' or 'Pyebridge'), experienced a backfire on one of its generating units in mid-November 2022 (the“Incident”).

.....

As a result of the above referred Site improvements and maintenance, the Site was un-operational from mid-November 2022 to end January 2023."

How is it legal and within the rules not to inform the market - MAST and KIBO for such a material event - the only operating unit being out of action for 3 months?!?

I just can not believe it!

Someone ought to tell the kiddies board to read Mast's small print and the balance sheet. Mega dilution on the way/ And that's if it even survives. As for LCs chairman's statement ! He's proved he's delusional. New board "leading the charge for MED to become a significant player in the sector". Will someone tell him there are over at least 600 cos in it - some part of groups with well over 50 plants and deep pockets. But its so reassuring to see thet Med has 'reached new heights'

This comes as no surprise though does it really, unless you have been wearing Ross tinted glasses for the past few years and are that much of a narc that you simply cannot accept when you may have gotten things even a wee bit wrong.

Speaking of which I’m sure they will arrive at any moment to impart some more amazing share advice in due course.

Oh well, it’s only money. Take a lesson from it and maybe next time be a little more open minded?

So does Borderley's 'impairment' charge mean the two chuckle brothers will repay (to shareholders)the grotesque price paid to them (for an 'asset' didn't even have planning permission it now appears) for which LC manipulated the MAST float price and so set up for the poor, deluded, investors in it to lose 3/4 of their money ?

"Nah ! 'Corse Not "

Not surprised they haven't fixed the AGM yet. LC will probably announce it after its happened.
