it seems positive news for Mast is on the way:

Together with Pyebridge, Rochdale and Bordersley, MED is at an advanced stage of acquisition on three further UK sites which when completed will bring its
total portfolio of projects, operational and under development/construction to 47 MW

You don’t have to hold to have an opinion.

In not holding I have saved myself a significant loss.

That is sagacious indeed.

Unlike some that think the more you buy the greater the chance it will “come good”.

You don’t have a clue.

CJ I think you already know the answer to that one, won’t be the first time there’s been a potential energy crisis for the coal assets to be actually monetised, but they never have been, and there’s quite a few reasons why they likely never will be.

In The Telegraph. 'Climate pledges abandoned as Putin sparks global coal crunch.Months after Cop26, prospect of Russia cutting off gas supplies forces a rethink.' - you would think the coal in Tanzania had some significant value to someone.

It’s a MASSIVE red flag that you know all of the posters that are holders on this board, are you that stupid not to realise that?

There’s no new interest from investors just you sad old tired bulls still clinging to broken dreams.

But at least you all know each other so you can spend your time reassuring each other if you need it. All 5 of you.

Pat on the back. Maybe a consoling hug?

There there.

PMSL.

DPR do you not think that Close would have completed their due diligence by now after what, 9 months? Or if any other funding was viable option they would have gone down an alternative route by now, surely?

MO here is for placing followed by white elephant, rinse and repeat.

Guess what’s likely in the pipeline.

I don't think MAST has any future. Apart from the very small capacity payments it might get for some of its plants, the industry makes the top-up profits it needs for viability from trading - for which an experienced and expensive trading team is needed. If MAST has to subsist on reach-me-downs from Statkraft, they will deliver less than competitors will be able to achieve. The fact is Med is just too small - engendered by a couple of chancers who happened on Borderley and thought what a chance ! which is probably why Close Bros took a look and seemingly has walked away. If Mast itself disagrees, why is there no proper update not only on Close but on developments in the industry, on which the gas price must be acting massively one way or another. Maybe LC can sell Med's 'portfolio' to some credible operator and rescue something - if not much.

@frankandbeans Strangely I agree with your points. In my view KAT is now completely unfunded and will be sold for peanuts. The Mast share price is on the floor and clearly the Close facility is an issue but Mast is far from dead and still offers away out of this mess. The danger is that LC will undertake another placing and burn through the cash chasing half baked projects he cannot deliver such as Billingham. THIS IS WHY THE NEXT AGM IS SO IMPORTANT

You should see a therapist.

Ask them about Illeism and Narcissism.

What a plank you are.
