Not in Africa, they need baseload energy.
Spoken to WB guys and they believe coal will be a part of Africa and Asia energy mix for many years

UK has come close to blackout a few times only this year, due to renewables!

Nobody seems to want to mention that getting hundreds of Millions of $ to build coal fired power stations (in the wake of all this climate change news)is getting harder by the day. Even Germany, who's heavily dependent on Coal have vowed to phase out coal fired power plants by 2038 in favour of renewables.
I don't believe KIBO will ever build a coal fired power station now. They've left it far too late.

Oh my dear John, I didn't think you were so ignorant (or devious).

"...Do you know about Primary Bid ? I gather (but don't know) they offer the chance to take private placings before they ever get to be public - or when a co is 'fishing' for market reaction."

Actually I do, they r the fintech version of a tradional broker where everyone can go and buy shares, ONCE the placing has been announced. A listed company would never release such sensitive info to anyone, unless they sign insider knowledge restriction form.

"...And talking of which the interims to end June should have been published by the AGM."

Really?!? I never seen such a rule, at least on LSE. Interims are required to be released EoP+x months, I think was 3 months post period end, ie Sept, in Kibo's case.

Dear oh Dear Mr Yaki. You don't seem to understand English. Do you know about Primary Bid ? I gather (but don't know) they offer the chance to take private placings before they ever get to be public - or when a co is 'fishing' for market reaction.
More to the point. If Kibo hasn't been fishing for a private placing, from where has its corporate cash need been filled ? It must be, once again, Shylock.
And talking of which the interims to end June should have been published by the AGM. if not there will have been nearly 9 months of cash flowing out since the last published balance sheet. Plenty of questions for those who haven't cottoned on But, then, they wouldn't know what to ask. And even if they did, LC wouldn't answer.

John, John - very misleading post.

How do you expect a placing notice to appear on PrimaryBid or anywhere else, before formal announcement to the market. Doing your best to muddy the waters, don't you!

Lurker said 'sign up' (for any PB offers). He didn't say he had a Primary bid offer on Kibo -someone else did. And they wouldn't have known the other one you mention.

lurker/John C

Are you saying that there is a placing on Primary Bid for Kibo. I checked their website, there is no open placing there, nor for a single company. Contacted them, gave them your name - John C, saying that you said that there is a placing. No reply eyt

Will let the FCA know that you are disclosing a highly sensitive information to the market.

Strange that, I am signed up with PB and have had no offers at “like” any price and particularly not Kibo.

What on earth does this individual think a PPA will do - "just for balance" !! ? Doesn't he realise a PPA makes no sense without a Feasibility study - and a Bankable one at that ! None of these Coetzee Chimeras have even produced a preliminary economic analysis (that he's told us about) A BFS takes many more £millions and many more months after a PEA. ('Chimera ? - look it up - a 'fantasy' - a 'dream' a 'delusion') Perhaps this person will wake up one day and spare the BB's

bigbofferPosts: 3,665Price: 0.80No OpinionRE: AGMToday 13:55We shall see Sonic. just for balance I am still thinking / hoping that a good PPA will arrive that adds so much value that it will move into 2 pence and beyond in a heartbeat but if that doesn't happen soon I can just see the company diluting further whilst the stars align. Sonic, in your opinion what are the chances of MCPP coming back to life with a Sepco cash injection and / or PPA arriving for the next projects and adding value before it dilutes further ? Honest question.Another Clown here BB who ramped BLOE and told fellow investors in KIBO that there's nothing better out there.Since then it has dropped from 13.5p down to 6.70pMy advice ignore every single one who holds KIBO stock as they are all clueless

'Better to be buying in the 0.35-0.5 range when the opportunity presents itself rather than now IMO''I don't think they would be looking to reduce the par value to raise funds if news was around the corner. I strikes me as a clear sign there is no significant news coming anytime soon which leads to selling and weakness in the share price 'WHEN it presents itself has always been the problem with the happy clappys happily misleading people and telling lies of inside information and news any day now how many people have they led up the garden path and lost all their monies from giving out such advices they should be blamed also!
