The Share price speaks the truth no matter what you think and that is why there is no interest in KIBO and may never will be.

I speak as I see it and why so you all keep saying about how I speak? What YOUR issue there making thing PERSONAL and yes I want to talk about this company not any other as this the one I have an interesting in and how the Ines on the LSE have talked many many people's into investing here with promise of news tommorow news imminent and 50p will come soon but it all lies and more jams tommorow. You say he had meetings but HE say this was complete surprise to him so you think it good thing that he being kept so much in dark against their special relationship? The FACTS are as you would say there are still no licences ( Dangote had their one, EDL had their one ) so why not this company? Lots of empty promises made. Let us talk about monies. How will the company now pay to keep the light on for the next few month do you think? Answer me this? Nobody seem to want to talk about that elephant in the corner. You say this a slight set back and I say that it is a very big understatement! You talk of PPA - they have NO LICENCES so why do you think a PPA is ever going to be presented!More talk from more of the happy flappy gang. The markets show you where it value the company and it going down down down not surprised?

Aimchimp but you also speak like you know facts. Your trying I think your damn hardest to put a negative spin on anything kibo does, the recent changes will have affected lots of mining companies, how many other threads have you talked? Hmmmm I fear none, you seem to have a unhealthy obsession with kibo, you obviously have an agenda do you think that your are fooling anyone by attempting to write English incorrectly. Not sure what your trying to achieve there. All I know is that Louis had meetings in June with all government departments prior to the changes in the law, now why would he have done that? He may not have known fully the extent of magafulis plans but then again this is a slight set back for the mining industry but will assist kibo in concurrent negotiations whilst they are pre paring the PPA, the new laws can be drafted in.

You speak all this as if you know this for the fact and truth which you do not. Coatee say himself this caught the, all by surprise so now you say he expected this? No I think you so much like the ones on the LSE are trying damndest to try and put a great positive spin on this huge issue which will not be worked out and solved overnight. This will delay project even further and how now you say the company are going to manage to run with no monies coming in and the price drip drip drip down so what price will placing come in at? To talk of news imminent here is to talk of news sometime maybe in the future, the saying how long is a piece of the string comes to my mind.

You talk of the MCPP and importance like they special relationship too! What was said before this can not be taken as given moving forward, Magufuli has pulled this from under Coatee and now put the company in a compromising place as they will now be very hard luck to find anyone willing to fund investment monies into a project with such high risk of being nationalised. The risk of investment in Africa is very high but then you should see warning signs when Magufuli decide to suspend and review all mining licences. Yes Tanzania would like more power but no rush for this and beside this coal is not only resource they have looked at. Where is the KIBO project in the power documents? If the need for Magufuli was imminent then why have they made such long delays for this to be given? It within Magufuli power to grant this licence but he has not.

Dudley you have spoken more sense in a few hours than Mr Guitars ever does in his lifetime. At least yours is balanced more than the clappers on LSE who can't stand negativity even though most of it is right.Don't ever listen though to the guitar man as he is clueless.

Hi lurker you have some several posts about funding which yes I agree is the key component in making this a reality along with all necessary permits and licences, given kibo coal mine and planned power plant are located within a key infrastructure development, this is essentially a deal which has to go ahead, Louis Coetzee has kept hold of the MCCP and retains a significant portion, the Tanzanian government has through out 2017 announced its plans to raise its power generation capacity in the short term by promoting the development of coal-fired power plants and reduce its coal imports. The government needs to ensure that it boosts coal production to strengthen economic development and promote the usage of local coal among the different industrial groups, The coal is also key as In 2013 Tanzania imported USD 1.35 million of Coal Briquettes to supply its coal-fired power plants being Malawi its main source accounting for 86% of the total imported. The recent legislative changes will ensure that this will change and to benefit Tanzania more robustly and to companies like kibo.Yes I agree I cannot comment on how funding will be done and how much kibo will retain but given Louis Coetzee track record I am positively in the mindset that he has already drawn up several routes to market with as little dilution to shareholders as possible.

The only other solution LC could come up with is a particular investor willing to run with the power station (or maybe even a coal mine IF it has other customers) and willing to accept a return on his investment lower than is required by international investors. Such a one was rumoured to be located in a Gulf State a few months ago. But that will still leave Kibo shareholders out in the cold as far as any return on their shares. Certainly there won't be anything like what the clappies fantasise about (failing to understand, as they do, that an 'NPV' for the project is nothing to do with the return on Kibo's shares). The basic point is that Kibo (and its shareholders) has no money of its own to fund the project. So they have no chance of any return except substantially diluted. The irr for the project is far too low for other investors to allow Kibo to have any 'free carry', or for Kibo to be able to 'sell' much of a stake in it to anyone else.

All the clappers said 2016 was going to be transformational for Kibo and now we're half way into 2017 and look what's happened share price almost at new lows and no progress with the SML ESIA PPA. The thing that concerns investors is simple there is no interest.Hope you do well Dudley but never trust anyone but yourself.Just saying.

Lurker sometimes people are more in the know than you are, albeit I understand how you come to your conclusions, the outcome here is very different. LC has maintained a bond with the new governments whilst these changes are happening. LC has been aware the requirement for cash to push this forward and has already come up with another innovative solution which is yet to be revealed. The hold ups in the current mining licences fiasco have played to lobos advantage although lc wnt show this. Exciting times are ahead for what will be a truely remarkable next 12 months. Everyone is entitled to their opinion no matter good or bad. Good weekend folks

Dudley etc
"Make no mistake kibo will be one of miners coming out of this smelling of roses.
Ignore the current share price and accumulate stock
Key meetings being held with lc dictating the terms"

Wrong - the terms will be dictated by international investors who LC (and Tanz) needs to put up the money. He hasn't got any. Haven't you noticed ? The whiff of any expropriation and arbitrary interference in contractual agreements even if far removed from coal will make them run a mile - even from coal.

DRAX Doesn't believe it will happen and I'm not sure why he stays invested ?Hoping for 43p but maybe he means 4.3 pence. No point staying invested if it's something you don't believe will happen so why keep your money in here.Only DRAX can answer that.

You say for all this but cannot be sure of anything you say is the truth. Coatee bee on saying for month and month that licence any day now and imminent and still they not arrive, now it revealed it due to Magufuli not issuing new licence and looking at old licence also. That the only FACT that know here so to say that this company is exempted is a plain LIE. Look to the LSE and all you see is desperate and some others trying to reinsure the nerves there. What if licence not come anytime soon? That mean more monies needed to run company overhead. What if licence not ever come? What other project will Coatee move on to? What left? He place a gamble on MCPP paying for the ones left but that look like it not paying out?I see more and more selling out. You see less and less people's talking of this, I wonder who is really still buying with this great shadow of doubt.Nationalism mentioned and could be a real concern here.
