Terrific, hastings; thanks for sharing. It sounded a great presentation and all most reassuring - rather exciting, in fact.

I also attended the excellent event and have added some comment below which may be of interest to others.
I have an interest in KWS along with FDEV, where I feel a wider investor audience has yet to fully take on the extent of change that has been and is, rippling through the Industry.

Key takeaways:
$90bn global market growing at 8-10% a year.
KWS organic growth is 23% pa, but obviously actual rate depends on acquisitions which are likely to continue.

That is just what he said. I bought a small holding and will research further. Please DYOR and let be know if the above sounds reasonable.

Someone else must have been impressed, judging by the share price action this morning!

rivaldo: thanks for that info. KWS is one of my strongest conviction holds presently, and hence I am somewhat overweight the stock in my portfolio.

I have only seen the CEO in videos, but also reached the conclusion that he is very impressive. I was struck, too, by the most recent KWS results: there was something about the clear and objective way information was presented, with no spin, that I thought was a breath of fresh air.

I think it all augurs well.

Rivaldo,

Is it possible to get a summary of any interesting bits of information? Obviously it was more. Of an awareness presentation I know but still - any further catalysts for growth?

Many thanks

I saw KWS present today - the CEO came across well and the business as promisingly as I'd hoped. More tomorrow if there's time. Thanks to Blackthorn Focus for arranging it.

New Edison report out today:

Conclusion:

"Valuation: Growth and changing business mix profile warrant valuation premium

Keywords is trading on an c FY16e EV/EBIT of 12x, broadly in line with its
localisation peer group median. However, the company benefits from significantly
higher growth prospects, with much of the growth taking place in the higher-margin art production vertical. Therefore, direct comparisons with localisation companies are becoming less relevant over time. With the added potential for further accretive acquisitions, we believe that Keywords should be trading on a higher multiple. This would result in additional upside from the current share price."

Difficult call, nap; sometimes it just pays to bite the bullet - especially if you hope to hold long term.

It sounds like the stock is in demand, however; which augurs well for those already holding.

KWS are featured in today's Shares Magazine in an article written by Douglas Lawson, director of Amati Global Investors, about the fund's holdings:

"The micro cap universe is a good place to look for companies with fundamentals that are broadly unaffected by an uncertain macro environment. We tend to focus
on non-cyclical businesses that can continue to grow earnings irrespective of the wider economic landscape."

"another company that falls into this category is Keywords Studios (KWS:AIM), a £74 million market capitalisation stock, also held across the Amati funds.

Keywords provides support services to developers of video games, principally for the ‘localisation’ of games titles – in other words, making the game language and content appropriate for local markets. The rate of video games development tends to be non-cyclical, being more influenced by the release of new consoles (and perhaps teenage buying patterns) than global economic concerns."
