News expected anytime soon on the Phosphate mine:

Diamond Creek is a fully permitted, high grade DSO, low capex organic phosphate mine. The mine achieved first commercial production in late July 2020 and the first beneficiated -10 mesh organic product, part of a 770-ton order, was dispatched in early September.

From LSE:

Diamond Creek Organic Phosphate mine at Utah, USA
Company now owns 51% after making recent final payment of approx. $300,000. The total payment of $2.5m for 51% ownership by KRS to falcon Isle (who was the sole owner) is a loan and will be paid back to KRS on tranches.

Falcon Isle will soon receive shipment of machinery plant and commissioning is schedule to complete in Q1. Once completed, I believe ramping in production will be done swiftly.

However, sales of organic phosphate expected to commence in January 2021.

Manganese in Nayega, Togo
KRS has come through so much in here that I think the directors should not stop for pressing Togo government to make their final decision on permit to exploitation license. Finding out If there is any shortcoming from KRS causing delay should be done and addressed quickly. If the delay is from Togo government, then, I believe directors should be well informed on the progress and KRS to shareholder.

But the good things is CEO remain positive about the award of the exploitation permit and believe that significant progress towards a permit has been made, specifically over the last three months.

Manganese will be replacing cobalt for increasing power on batteries and the future looks really good with increasing demand and price rising.

When the license is awarded, we all know what will be the share price of KRS whilst both organic phosphate and manganese, highly soughted resources comes on the market generating revenues for KRS.

Diamond Creek acquisition almost complete now after today's financing:

"With regards to the Nayéga Manganese Mine in Togo, I have just returned from Lomé for my last trip of 2020. I remain positive about the award of the exploitation permit and believe that significant progress towards a permit has been made, specifically over the last three months.

"Finally, I would like to thank our shareholders, both those new to our register following today's placing and our long-standing supporters, plus colleagues and other stakeholders, and wish a happy and safe break over the festive season and look forward to providing an update on both Diamond Creek and Nayéga Manganese in due course."

Hopefully RL will land that ML in the new year, good that he's keeping on it with these Togo visits. RL and DR both dipping in to support the company again. Good to see their dedication to the company. Same right back at them, hope they have a happy and safe festive season and make us a load more cash in 2021 (KRS and CAI)!

Regards,
Ed.

Just a rehash of our last RNS isn't it? It doesn't seem to say anything new to suggest it's government insider news.

Good find zh and yes very good news as it goes a long way to mitigating the risk that Falcon Isle won't sell enough at a decent enough price. Still no guarantees, but the chances are much better with this sort of thing in place to protect against cheap imports.

FYI, response I received this morning after further questions. I think it's self-evident that the BOD thought this was an issue at some point. I don't know when the legal opinion was sought however, recently or some time ago.

"We have taken legal advice on the MM/RoT agreement from a specialist francophone mining law firm in Paris and discussed it at length with the Togo MoM - we are comfortable with SGM’s security of tenure on the Nayega project which is also underpinned by the 2019 Decree."

MM was never a real issue. Togo Govt failure to realise that was the issue holding things up (afraid of their shadows).

Bottom line: MM is not holding things up now.

Strange. The reply I got from RL today said that MM was never an issue and they never had any rights or licenses for Nayega. We seem to have been provided with two differing answers.

Now, call me blonde if you wish, but if this was never an issue as claimed, then it could not have been resolved by the decree of last year could it?

I find the response peculiar when the investment agreement of 2006 (it can be found online, in French) specifically granted exploitation/marketing/sales rights, along with all permits and authorisations to MM (for Iron, Bauxite, Chromite, Manganese etc) and that was inclusive of - and I quote - "manganese within the perimeter of Nayega".

You can all make your own mind up, but something does not add up for me and nor does the answer I was provided with.

Slow? Previous Ministers of now multiple governments (but the same President) have had 6 years since we were first informed the exploitation license was to be awarded. Are you saying ALL of the rest were incompetent but suddenly the new one's aren't? That a Council of Ministers decree suddenly stops because the previous ministers have left?
I find that a bit of a stretch to believe in a country where nothing seems to get done without the President's express approval!
