... in total around £21k of shares traded today, so not much of a leak!
... I'm impressed though that the share has been holding up so far
... seems more like someone is propping it up to prevent it from collapsing, since there has been:
... no news on the diamond project which according to Desmond was to have started by March
... possibly more delay in the HMS project until SA forms a new coalition government and gets settled in, and that's only if the ANC does not join up with the EFF or Zuma's party, in which case everyone runs for the nearest exit out of SA
... no progress on the Tantalum project due to China's financial meltdown so Hebei is unable to stump up the remainder of the cash
... other than that all is going swimmingly :-)

All South African facing stocks holding their breath right now. The choice facing the diminished ANC is pretty binary now - go with the Democratic Alliance and stay more or less pro-business, or go with their former comrades in the EFF and Zuma's mob, and unfettered corruption and Zimbabwe style economic collapse here we come!
My money is on the first option winning out, but with only a low level of confidence. Any road, parliament must meet and elect a new President within two weeks, so at least we should know fairly soon!

The tantalum mine is in Namibia, of course, so not affected at all by SA elections. That's a weird story - why did Hebei pay $5m and then stop paying, getting nothing at all for their money? Because lithium prices crashed? Because their parent in China is in financial trouble thanks to the property market collapse there? I don't have any answers to that, but I'm not expecting a resolution any time soon. Even if a new buyer were interested in the mine, in principle, they would be worried about chain of title. Do Kazera really have the right to sell it from "under" Hebei and yet keep the money Hebei have already paid? I wonder.
As for SA, yes, I believe not a single licence of any kind will be issued to any company in SA for the next few weeks, at least until it is clear who is forming the new government. That's just how things work there now.
And no, I don't believe KZG's reporting to market is a model of clarity, either. But then, this is AIM!

Why on earth should elections interfere with the continued agreed sale of a mine, the confirmation of a licence or the sale of some diamonds?Let's stop giving this bunch excuses. Please KZG communicate professionally with your long suffering shareholders.

South African elections at the end of the month (29th).
I think it's obvious that nothing is going to happen before them, and indeed until the dust settles afterwards.

al101uk your statement 'The financial checks have been in place since at least 2022 and form part of the information gathering.'Im afraid that says everything about their current and historical information. It is dishonest and destroys trust. They said .'But RECENT changes within the NNR now requires companies to provide additional information as to how they will meet financial obligations associated with any nuclear authorisation granted.'Why make such a misleading and dishonest statement when it's so easily checkable.Come on guys give us a honest transparent RNS we as shareholders deserve it.

Agreed Penrith.

The full regulatory framework can be found here:

There are links at the bottom of the page, you can cross reference the RD-xxx mentioned in the African Rainbow Minerals approval to get a feel for what Kazera may need to comply with.

The RG-xxx documents are guidance for the regulations and are on a seperate tab on the same page.

Direct link to the application process:

Should be fairly easy to form an opinion on whether you think Kazera are being open and transparent about their progress on HMS or not.

The financial checks have been in place since at least 2022 and form part of the information gathering. The company could be at step 1 of 5.1.2 in the document or step 5. it's unclear if the NNR would gather all information before making a decision or if they may have already advised they are happy with everything other than the finances, but if Kazera are not getting an exmption certificate I don't see how they avoid a similar process to African Rainbow, in which case there must be additional up front costs that have either already been paid for or will come due before production can start.

I do think it's fair to say that the timescale so far isn't really a concern, can take a year or more.

More questions than answers, I think Kazera could be a lot clearer on what they are doing and where they are in the process, I simply don't believe the "change in financial checks" stuff in their RNS, which casts doubt on the rest of it for me.

If a raise will produce the capex to provide the guarantee that moves the company to creating revenue then I am all for it.

Excellent info. Thanks. They really need to get their act together. Don't think the government will accept that future revenues are the only guarantee. Bizarre.

Just For information/discussion:

Here's a link to the NNR and a certificate granted to African Rainbow Minerals:

And some documentation around the regulation of radioactive materials:

Not sure how this can be "box ticking" without any up front capex requirement. From the document:

Radioactive waste management programmes should be established, implemented and
maintained in order to:
a) Ensure waste generation control;
b) Ensure the identification, quantification, characterisation and classification of any radioactive waste generated;
c) Provide for the necessary treatment and other waste management steps leading to safe
clearance, or authorised discharge, disposal, reuse or recycling; and
d) Provide for the safe storage of radioactive waste between any waste management
processes.

Not interested in current share price as even a few hundred quid can affect it. My ongoing concern is their amateurish way they handle communication. To release an RNS without any mention of diamonds beggars belief. As for releasing 4 month old pics on X is plain weird.I think the majority of us are not selling because we have little choice without taking a significant hit.I think the majority of long term holders would bale out if offered their book cost.

More like market trying to panic weak holders into selling, but not worked today. share price back to where we started.

A few more weeks delay, and could well be less than that, isn’t a great problem. If we get yet another delay on the licence, then maybe even the most patient may start to lose it.

Market not impressed. Must be possible that the NNR will require a bond or similar to secure their obligations once they've done their 'box ticking', or crossing.

Box ticking. What a stupid statement and shows the level of professionalism. Looks like we are now a one horse pony with nothing positive on diamonds or the mine. Nothing to say really other than we seem to be in the lap of the gods. Is the horse pulling up lame ... who knows. What an investment. Fingers crossed.

Unsurprisingly a bit more delay on getting the permit. Hopefully they have greased the correct “wheels” now and can get the permit in next few weeks. Plant has progressed significantly but not quite ready yet anyway.

We are all used to delays and frustration on this one. Maybe May 24 will finally be the month!!

Further delay although they claim permit should be granted soon.

I wouldn’t have described new regulatory process as “box ticking”. Just the sort of thing to annoy a bureaucrat.

Well in a recent interview someone who has experience dealing with the people issuing these permits says that all they have to do is find the right person in the office and grease their palm with silver. It will then be issued in short time but if they don’t go this route they could be waiting indefinitely. He has apparently relayed this point of view to Dennis. That may be BS but has a ring of credibility to me.

The expectancy of a permit has been generated by management but, having already missed the 1st quarter guideline the April projection comes into sharper focus and if also missed can only lead to disappointment and the inevitable decline in the share price.Do we believe management's target this time? Fingers crossed we do get it by the end of April, but I'm starting to get a sinking feeling.....

Constant positive sounding tweets about HMS and no mention of the diamonds or mine sale. Seems to me they are softening up for bad news on both those fronts. If we have become one horse race with just HMS remaining I wonder how long the cash will last. I also wonder what the market would see as the value of just an operational HMS company.I'm still 30+ percent off break even. This licence announcement is taking forever.Another week with no news only Tweets.

No new news on the diamonds, mine sale/cash or H.M.S. yet we have a 140% rise in the share price ....Welcome to AIM.
HMS should read 'HMS Kazera Leaky Ship'. Two types of leak, one were information is leaked (illegally)and the other is when the boat sinks. Which is it???
Seriously its very poor communication from the company. Almost feels like some skulduggery is going on.
Anyway nice to see this board wake up after 14 days silence.
