07/1/2021 15:43 | Investors are buying this at 60p over bid price. | tygarreg
07/1/2021 15:19 | Pressure continues to build. I sold 1/5 of my holding on a 'gift horse' basis. LL | loss-leader
07/1/2021 10:06 | Sold 1/5 of holding today. Cue revised offer tomorrow | ouiey1000
07/1/2021 09:07 | This is nuts. Something has to give.KAZ would be nearly double the current level if the market was unhindered. | manics
07/1/2021 08:50 | Surely there must be a pending announcement? | sarahbudd
06/1/2021 11:38 | Surely have to come back with a revised offer. I've never known a buy out offer less than the current market value. | rampant_bull
06/1/2021 10:47 | Moving up nicely. Folk who did not sell are now 5% ahead of the offer. Someone thinks there is more value here. LL | loss-leader
09/12/2020 09:18 | That was before, so a retrospective view. You sold, fair enough, so let's consider those holding now. Someone somewhere seems to see some mileage in it this morning. | glavey
09/12/2020 08:44 | The counter argument to hold tight is opportunity cost (sold at 620 and got 40% rise elsewhere) and if the bid fails then you're left with hostile management. | jp2011
09/12/2020 07:17 | So they are now 'going hostile', using threats and who knows what other arrangements to procure support. That's 'coming from the back foot' after the first idea received 'cold shoulder'. This latest attempt is equally disrespectful. The KAZ share price would be significantly higher was it not held back by these proposals. Just consider how other copper miners have risen over the period. ANTO was circa 1000p on the 2nd October, it's now circa 1425p, so up 42.5%. Using a revised date to exaggerate their argument, NOVA are claiming 24.9% is fair and reasonable, and that's including bidder premium. It isn't. Hold tight. | glavey
08/12/2020 14:52 | Not certain enough to short it, but looking more likely to go through. | zangdook
03/12/2020 14:28 | Would they be permitted to buy?? | dekle
03/12/2020 14:04 | its a good plan, effect an recommended offer at a low price, depress the shares recovery and even if you biuld a position at over the offer price you take control of the company so far below its real worth you still win, not sure i am confident they will fail. Gibbs rule "If you feel you are being played , you probably are" | boozer69
03/12/2020 13:20 | Even more than that, the consortium accepts that if they fail they will lose some money. LL | loss-leader
03/12/2020 11:20 | I imagine the consortium are trying to build their stake! | tygarreg
03/12/2020 11:19 | Somebody wants our shares and they are happy to pay a premium to the offer price.Interesting times! | tygarreg
02/12/2020 16:03 | I hope this does not go through, i will vote no, but if it does do we know if there is a loan note option | boozer69
02/12/2020 14:27 | Do Kaz have to buy out all the rebels - or just enough of them to thwart the rebellion? LL | loss-leader
02/12/2020 14:11 | Someone is buying at 655 now. Obviously they think a higher offer is on it's way! I sold half when the offer was first made at 630 something. However, I ploughed that into some really good risers so I did ok and can still buy that stake back if I wanted. But holding on to my remaining kaz for a better price. | tygarreg
02/12/2020 12:50 | Zangdook Thank you for the link. Appreciated. I have also found an FT article which has increased my meagre knowledge. | tymedici
02/12/2020 12:38 | As far as I know there's no timeline yet. The latest announcement just talks of delay and adjournment and "when appropriate". | zangdook
02/12/2020 12:27 | What is the timeline here regarding the current offer. Can some kind soul direct me to an article which explains the current situation and possible outcomes? Thanks in anticipation. | tymedici
02/12/2020 10:55 | Buys going through at 650... | rampant_bull |
