From January's production report....


Oleg Novachuk, Chief Executive, said: "I am pleased to report that in 2015 the East Region and Bozymchak mines met or exceeded production guidance across all metals. We also achieved the first output of copper cathode from Aktogay oxide in December and copper concentrate from Bozshakol is expected shortly. We are now focused on the ramp up of Bozshakol which, together with Aktogay, will deliver the highest growth rate in the sector over the next three years."


I am hoping for good things in Thursdays results.

If in line with what ON hinted at - this could be spectacular!

Hardly any volume in the market except for a bunch of hedge funds / IB's having a field day with shorts playing the fear game... and making a load of money in the bargain. This is the worst bear market for little real reason. BUy Buy as these guys will want to make money on the way up too

Well copper has held at 2.06 but kaz has dropped like a stone from 128p reached just a few days ago. Better that they had said nothing . Another month or so of this punishment and there will be nothing left.

Absolutely irrelevant if it starts within a month or so. If it was a six month delay, i d agree. The market needs to see copper supply and demand to match and the sentiment to change - that is the key.

Bozshakol copper concentrate production imminent. This is now late and behind schedule unless they started today ! The market needs to see promises kept
and deadlines met from this company in order for any price recovery.

I wouldn't let the opinion on here sway you. Most of us are despeeate gamblersl, fools and chancers. I may resemble thise remarks; as you ask assuming copper stays where she is, i m rather hoping we rerate anyhow to 160-180. But no clue tbh.
