Could down to the tenge or could be production news as per 11/12 RNS,
"Oleg Novachuk, Chief Executive, said: "We have made excellent progress in finalising the construction of the processing facilities at Bozshakol. The testing of individual components of the concentrator is well underway and we now anticipate the first production of copper in concentrate in January next year."

Copper is falling and yet kaz is rising...why? Is this rise artificial or does it indicate something more significant?

As they ramp up, bearing in mind the devaluation, oil price etc, will anyone hazard a guess as to there cost of production per llb ? I m assuming 1.20 to 1.40 or so - so hoping with some rescheduling of debt I may get out with my shirt intact. Though, any idea of profit frankly, I m not even concerned with. Oh well, happy new year long suffering Kaz holders!

Bought another 30k shares this morning. No brainer. Copper suppliers buckling and output from expensive mines cut or closed. China caught a cold but turning. Low oil price stimulating world economy. Kaz will come on stream exactly at the right time. Buy.
