02/3/2016 10:51 | Picked up some here. Seems to making a recovery, and if the share price is going to reverse trend, it could be a good play for some years to come. Difficult to judge though, in current circs. But copper shouldn't go out of fashion any time soon. | brucie5

01/3/2016 21:25 | Its easy really-this will be one of the worlds low cost major copper producers for decades to come-a good time as Asia, Russia, Africa, South America start building homes and infrastructure for their respective populations-they have hardly started yet-and developed economies replenish crumbling post war infrastructure (the US in particular) which is now not fit for modern transport and habitation purposes. The demand for copper will soar and there will be shortages, in no small thanks to the hedge funds' which have in part precipitated the present crisis for their own trading purposes and thwarted the sectors' plans to continue investing in new mines to fill the looming and inevitable shortage. Time trading in commodities was left those who use them and forward purchases likewise-to airlines etc who need them and not some Mayfair trader who wouldn't recognize a lump of copper if it hit him in the face. Kaz's mrkt cap-a major world producer- says it all about the industry. A nice sideline for George's buddies though. | cumnor
01/3/2016 20:57 | Slowly rising through previous support points, higher highs too. Risky but with most downside already priced in and lots of shorts closing, this could go back to 2.5£ by end of year. In a very volatile way though so not easy to watch some days. A holder here. | blondeamon
