IMO it's sector rotation. Miners were depressed for a while now and it is the only sector that lost a lot and will start recovering lost ground.
KAZ was the worst hit for just sentiments on a takeover despite exploration will start in 2026...
Its results were ignored despite doubling everything.
So KAZ should recover fast and strongly with a PE ratio of just 6 - The lowest in the sector - thus the cheapest.

Does KAZ deserve to drop 60% in a short period ?
Profit and turnover doubling with a PE of just 6.0; the lowest in the sector.
Strange if it does not go back to at least £6 - £7 within a few weeks.

Interesting: Russia is also developing its electrical car as "a competitor to Tesla".
KAZ would obviously benefit.

Maybe a move quickly to a more realistic market valuation but given the time scale of this project, I cannot see a substantial improvement in the share price for some time. Sorry, hope I am wrong.

Electric is the future but the battery may well be redesigned for weight. Indeed the whole wiring system may be redesigned for local much smaller power supply in a drive to save weight as performance increased hell of a lot by that.

Every car industry on the planet is involved in electric vehicles. JLR for example is now introducing electric cars as it is diesel at 90%. Tesla is not so important but not dead yet. Every construction/building industry needs copper. So to link mining sector malaise to the death of copper deserves a smile.
