amazing performance by KAZ after early selloff and no help from copper price which is down a bit from level at friday close . is it institutions pushing it higher but must check out the volume to see if above average volume ?

copper price improved a bit and really still in short term uptrend and it would not be
a surprise if KAZ picked up soon

copper off a bit and KAZ suffering along with all the mining stocks so far . But really it was ripe for profit taking after the stellar run. Maybe a bit more downside before it turns up again but KAZ often surprises !

Still the question of 5 billion remains for their new project but with copper boom to start, expect rich russians will finance without an offer to shareholders but them again another special offer for those not overloaded.

Even at 560 we are on a forward multiple of 5.2 (!!!!) ... and the divi is 10x covered.

KAZ has become a "buy on intra day dip" stock of late and copper price still not breaking through 270 decisively . That is a concern but chartwise KAZ has a way to go yet .
