I took a look at weekly and monthly on CMC markets charts smurfy2001 but seems to have slipped below the uptrend line which is not a good omen . Maybe I am reading it incorrectly .

arja, take a look at the monthly copper chart my thoughts are we are due a rally soon on the daily probably a bit more to fall possibly below 3.0

could be zho but mining stocks are mainly up today because of the falling pound after
more bad figures - brexit prospects starting to bite I guess and those poorer brexiteers will be hit when they go on holiday !

FT on Glencore's difficulties in DRC:

"Assuming Glencore's DRC assets halt production, the impact on the copper market is likely to be large . Our analysis suggests the lost 360kt of copper will shift the copper market into deficit for 2018."
