Share prophet reports there is now an investigation due to allegations of manipulation by the bod at cgnr ahead of the EGM last week witnesses are being interviewed. Any allegations found to be true will be very dam aging for cgnr and kdr

Shambaby.....I agree that investing should involve money that you can afford to lose, however, surely you are not telling me that this is purely a punt to you? Has not our Board released enough 'official' information to allow you to formulate a certain level of expectation based on its content? I don't want to simply put my shares into a bottom drawer and hope for the best! I have 'invested' here based on my own research and information provided to us all by the Company, and that leads me to think that sometime in the future l should get some kind of a return on my money. That is why we all do this surely? The other alternative is that the Company is providing the Market with misinformation in order to induce gullible private investors to continue financing these projects when they know that there is no future shareholder value in any of them! What would you say were the odds on that one?!!

If you don't know how to think mate. I think I can really really help you :-) We are invested in a exploration company looking for one of the rarest gems on our planet. To simplify things what ever you can afford to invest, guess what?? Yes it affordable so it goes in the bottom draw, if we find diamonds it's a 1000-1 shot, so it's mega return or bust!!!!! I'm in for a shilling or 2

Don't know what to think here at the moment to be honest.
The cancellation of KDR and CGNR on the ESM looks like a money saving exercise to me .The new irish diamond mining licences could mean only 1 of 2 things imo 1 We arnt going to be spending our limited funds on exploration work starting from scratch when we have assetts in Finland like Riviaarah so prof may be selling out in Finland to RTZ and then starting out a fresh back in Ireland with cash for diamond exploration over 6 years and the CGNR Gold mine.

2 We've got duck all in Finland Rhiviaara et all have so far come up with nothing the only thing really of interest is the recent 200 million prospective field so we've decided to sell out to RTZ for a couple of pence because we havnt got the cash to continue and another placing is not possible and the company would not be a viable concern going forward .

It's one or the other as we don't have funds to start in Ireland and keep on with Finnish operations.

This could be a reaction to recent events through the Irish Courts relating to CGNR. As of 6th November, the Company will no longer be liable to regulations governing the ESM, in particular to KDR securities. Mr Conroy isn't out of the woods yet, and as someone who doesn't hold CGNR or has ever done so, recent events and actions by certain members of that Board have left them somewhat tainted and under scrutiny. Damage limitation going forward springs to mind! It's time that this Company showed some transparency and brought us 'loyal' long suffering shareholders up to date on exactly what is going on across its projects, and gave us an indication as to what the short to medium term plans are. Credibility is the key word here, and our Board need to start building some of that sharpish because we are unfortunately being tarred with the same brush, so to speak!

The green diamond find is from a new kimberlite. Results from samples show this kimberlite is now within a few hundred metres. This will be diamond bearing 100%. RTZ are moving the Riihviaara kimberlite exploration forward and this looks like there's a cluster, which will take time to prove up, samples prove that it's diamond bearing. Sertepia is on hold and proven, lahjotki has circa $200 million diamonds over 9 years for a cost of $22million set up, with more kimberlite discoveries looking likely in the area to increase value,JV needed. Also many other projects. Finland no doubt in my mind will be the big diamond Provence. Once JV or sale agreed Karelian will move into Ireland to continue works from years ago that point to kimberlite in the areas licences sought. I'm confident and will continue building my holding. It's quite simple guys, if your not of the same mindset then sell and move on. If your joining the dots up and agree then hold for the exciting news I believe will come.

An alternative theory: that KDR have discovered that none of their diamonds are economic to mine, and so are abandoning Finland and Ireland is their alternative.

Which means either
a) they exhausted one project's possibilities, then the next, then the next, till they had none left, and then opened up Ireland's possibilities, with no RNS at all during all that time; OR
b) they are - simultaneously on all their projects - coming to the conclusion but haven't quite reached it yet, but sort of enough to open up Ireland, but sort of not enough to do an RNS yet, that they are all uneconomic

neither of which seem very likely to me

Good point sell our Finnish assets and then still have a diamond exploration company in Ireland .Taking on these licences and funding the exploration work just doesn't make any sense at all when we have seipt and rhiviarra and the 200 million on our other licence !
You could be bang on the money Discusser we could be in here .

Only a theory, but if I were gearing up to sell to RTZ I might

- arrange for something closer to home to keep me occupied as I am accustomed to be, after one of my favourite companies is gone - and look after whomever of my staff are sticking around
- shift to being on only one exchange so as to make the sale simpler (there have been times when the price on the AIM and the ESM have been different.

Only a theory, I have no inside knowledge

Hmm

or is it Hmm !!

Is there any RNS or other news source about starting from scratch with licences in Ireland? I haven't found it after a cursory look.
