yep valuation here has been nuts for a while, expecting another surge to 270p then get sold off with the rest of the market back to 230. Either way happy holding for the divis long term.

And very importantly a bullish outlook statement. I continue to be amazed at the valuation on offer here, at these prices K3 must be trading at single digits earnings for FY23, surely the rerate begins today.

Sorry to correct you, but the majority of K3Cs income is not now from M&A. Quantuma (Business Restructuring) now accounts for north of 55% of K3Cs income. After reading FRPs trading statement it seems clear that M&A activity is particularly strong at the moment due to PE money looking for a home; and Restructuring is now beginning to take off, following the end of government pandemic support. I can't see any companies more in the right place at the right time than K3C, FRP and BEG.

Riverman77,LOL no one would want to sell a business these day but many people are forced to because of the debit they owe the banks !! With interest rates going up puts more pressure on them to sell !
Few buyers around so more bankruptcies IMHO.

I guess BEG and particularly FRP are more pure insolvency plays, whereas the main part of K3C business is still business sales, which you'd expect to come under pressure (who would want to sell a business in the current environment?)

Results due this month,so very strange to see persistent fall in the share price!
Perhaps a forced seller maybe invested in Bit Coin ! Strange time to sell !!
BEG in breakout mode, FRP holding it's own but K3C down !! I hold all 3.

Accepting the role of administrator of a football club is always fraught with danger. Inevitably there's plenty of PR associated with it but it's not the usual situation where IPs are just dealing with stakeholder investors and creditors. They also have the thankless task of dealing with fans and locals who believe that football means more than life itself. You only have to look at the administration of Glasgow Rangers to see how messy things can get. That said, this is just one administration amongst many, and if it weren't subject to such tittle-tattle on social media and the EFL suddenly getting all antsy and sticking their oar in, administrators would find it easier to do their job. On the bright-side for K3C shareholders, all of this toing and froing is only clocking up more time/cost fee income for Quantuma.

Quantuma’s reputation taking a dive with respect to their handling of the situation at Derby County FC. Didn’t exactly cover themselves in glory at Wigan Athletic but I’m not at all sure they’ll be offered a role as administrators of a football club again after this.

It was 15th June last year and in their recent 'we know no reason for the fall' RNS they said it would be in June. I've sent a message asking for the date although we may get an RNS tomorrow that will tell us.
