It hasn't been entirely ignored - The 70 trades today compares with a more typical daily 20 or so over the past two weeks. I think the 'problem' is that the news helps support the price and boost the liquidity for those wanting to liquidate some part (any part in a storm!) of their portfolio in a sagging market.
For those currently preferring to accumulate a good stock it means adding at around yesterday's price with today's news already in the bag.

Simply Wall St have fair value at £7.84, which I think is too much, so would be happy with your 400-500p. High PE though at 46

Results look good and the outlook even better with accelerating earnings in December 21. Excellent.

I've been wrong on K3C before, or at least too early, but with a Trading update and Investor Meet presentation next Wednesday this could be the time for another move up. 6 months ago the new companies had not fully bedded in and that caused a delay to the results release but this time all should be on time and we should have a better view of the significant progress and growth that is underway. I'm confident that John Rigby and his team can deliver so this is the second largest holding in my portfolio of 15 or so shares.

Came across this company when Knightsbridge asks me if I wanted to sell by business. Did a bit of research on K3C and today I make my maiden purchase.

Hi, I am one of those new to K3C and in conjunction with a colleague have now completed our analyses and taken an initial position. It does seem to be a pretty positive story and I am looking forward to seeing the interims which I believe are due on 14th February; following the trading update on 13th December. Hopefully they will confirm all three business strands are on a robust growth trajectory. Cheers, tightfist

A really positive article that should introduce some new investors to K3C. I'm optimistic that we may make some 2022 Tips of the Year lists in the coming weeks as some look to refresh their portfolios.

"Rigby believes that K3 can deliver £25million of profit in the next couple of years, doubling to £50 million thereafter, through organic growth and complementary acquisitions. Today, K3 is valued at £256million but Rigby has set his sights on a £1billion valuation."

Good to see ambition. Hope he achieves this in due course.

Thanks for sharing that. Things are looking good. They explain the bull case well.

Midas verdict: There are about four million small, privately owned businesses in the UK and K3’s database covers half of them. This helps the company to attract more buyers and sellers than any of its peers, a position that is likely only to become more entrenched as the business continues to expand. The tax and restructuring divisions add a further dimension and more complementary deals are expected to follow in time. At £3.50, the shares are a buy – and the dividend provides an attractive 3.5 per cent yield on top.

Yes, pretty happy with that but only modestly up on K3C despite me backing them all the way as my #2 holding. Tough year generally for my portfolio though - I'm up only about 4% since Jan 1st as the last couple of months have been brutal.
