Great news - particularly the entry into a new arena. Let's hope that the good word spreads. Could see 120p before long.

Im seeing only 9500K declared Sells so far today and yet the share price rises - anyone know if we're tipped again somewhere (my IC not yet arrived) or perhaps a big T Buy is being filled? Whatever the case, it's looking very good - especially the trend over the recent two months.

allstar, the report is 30 odd pages but here is the header.

Microsoft is investing heavily to develop its Dynamics business application software business and value added resellers (VARS) are Microsoft's channel to market. K3 is the largest such VAR in the country enjoying the highest levels of partner accreditation and provides good investment exposure to Microsoft's ambitions. As a PLC, K3 has consistently matched or exceeded market forecasts but is trading at a discount to the UK Software and IT Services sector. For a company demonstrating top line growth, margin improvement and good cash conversion, this discount represents a buying opportunity. We initiate with a BUY recommendation and a 130p price target, equivalent to 11.3x FY07.

K3 supplies third party and own developed business application software and services to small and medium sized UK enterprises (SMEs) in the Manufacturing, Distribution (multi-channel) and Retail sectors. This portfolio has been achieved through a mixture of organic development, targeted acquisitions, distribution agreements and the divestment of non-core and legacy businesses over the past five years.

INVESTMENT CASE

Good balance: revenue visibility (Manufacturing) and growth (Retail/Distribution)
Modern comprehensive Microsoft-based product set that is gaining market share at the expense of legacy and/or proprietary systems in the mid market.
Operating in a fragmented market with the necessary skills and wherewithal to execute earnings-enhancing acquisitions. Strong management team with considerable M&A and software industry expertise.
Discount to Software and IT Services Sector.

Slow burner here but making good steady progress. Will be interesting to see what the placing was for and nice to see the directors increase their stakes...

Nice to see a few decent buys in excess of 111p - further share price progress no doubt due over the coming weeks.

Nice RNS - no new business, but to see such glowing client feedback should help in attracting others.

K3 get a brief mention in the latest edition of GCI. Bridgewell say "Transformed K3 looks undervalued. Transformed software distribution play K3 received the thumbs up from analyst Kevin Ashton of Bridgwell, in the wake of interim results that arrived ahead of expectations. Adjusted pre-tax profits sparkled 56% higher at £1.2M, fuelled by improved fortunes in all threee divisions of the group, with the retail division proving the star turn. New business wins and a strong pipeline of work underpin Ashton's unchanged 2006 forecast. he envisages pre-tax profits clipping north from "2.1M to £2.8M, giving EPS of 11.5p and a budget forward rating for the shares, which he continues to see as undervalued."

Looks pretty good to me.

Now that RNS is interesting - a placing price of 105p is very impressive and shows tremendous faith, both institutional and Directorial. Presumably, the placing is not casual and we will soon hear of targetted acquisitions.

IC 1/4 page and BUY rec today - while the shares have struggled to make much progress, the growth prospects and the low rating remain intact.

I would imagine the large sell is a buy order they have been accumulating these last few days ,unless there is even a bigger buyer in the background ,possibly a director ? whichever, things look good.
