Ah, and of course there's a mistake on page 1 and page 5 of the Report and Accounts: they've left the AGM date as 16 May (at least on the pdf version on the website). I wonder how many people reviewed page 1 ...

On a more serious note, they have changed the Financial Celendar on the web-site, so we are still expecting a business update on 16/5 - next Thursday.

Accounts out today - starting my review with the RemCom report: in 2018 there was no capital objective, so of course they just consumed as much capital as possible and got hit by the PRA. In 2019, the committee seems finally to have added capital as an objective, given the CEO a pay rise and then fired him. An on first sight, they seem to have only disclsoed th leaving arrangements for Simon Thomas and not for Rodney Cook, presumably thinking that by next year we will have forgotten. Of course, Simon Thomas was treated as a good leaver even though he apparently resigned ...

There is lots of potential here. I'd like them to exit lifetime mortgages and deploy much better capital allocation. The CEO needed to go as he was pretty rubbish in my view. The Board need to start thinking more about shareholder value and less about their pay packets.

Jane That's just one of the questions for the Chairman ...

Although the Chairman may get asked why Rodney Cook was granted 475,000 options on 29 March?

Don’t think Steve Groves would want to go back

The board is working very hard for us. We will relist very soon. Sleep soundly and wait for xmas.

The former head of Partnership (can't remember his name) but looks like the pointless quiz bloke, Richard Osman, might be in with a shout if he wants it?

Couldn't be more of a sitting duck to be taken out - if it ever is to be - than now!

Institutions got their 'head' for the left field placing. Now leaves the company open to a takeover at a premium with institutional backing IMHO.

Makes a breakup/take-over much more likely in my view. Certainly makes the Chairman’s job at the AGM easier. Perhaps they’ll now release the accounts, which was concerning me.

Good news in my book. Rodney Cook hasn't done much to further shareholder value growth. The company is wide-open for a takeover now with a bit of a leadership vacuum.

65p is now gone for good and has become the new support line.
I am very eager to see where it's heading now. My first target is 80p.

SP dropped like child rapists in a NZ mosque.

What sort of person are you? If anyone you know, like a family member or a close friend, would find out what you wrote; what would their thoughts, about you, be?

Well we are still in oversold territory...
bounce from 57p may be short lived with a retrace... anywhere near 60p and re-load time!

70p+ end of week will do nicely.

The market price is relevant to the extent that it determines the number of shares granted under the scheme.

If the options are at nil cost which I take it to mean a strike price of nil, isn’t it irrelevant what the market price is when they’re issued.

Amazing: Rodney now gets 475,195 new NIL cost options at the bombed out price. Clearly he isn't departing soon.
