JLP Up 9.09% today in South Africa at 192 which converts to 8.24p. The volume was 1.95 million which is 4x the average daily volume. The South African investors are closer to what’s happening on the ground so let’s see if this bodes well for tomorrow here.

There is no delay in the Roan commissioning by the looks of the trading pattern.And there are more ears on the ground by these large buyers.

Copper has hit a recent record high overnight, my records show it was March 2022 when the metal was last at these levels ($10,715) - so this morning it's gone up even more $11,200 - which bearing in mind the processing costs of around $5,000 per ton, the margins looks tasty. I know Leon keeps banging on about the chrome numbers (2m) but the margins on chrome are a pittance compared to copper.

Proof of delivery (Roan) is now needed to take advantage of the uplift in the copper price, the clock is ticking to the end of the month.

God forbid another delay in this saga, the market will not be pleased!!

I'd rather there was no delay but if there is a small one I'm not that bothered especially if it's not Jubilee's fault. Rather than one great big bang RN we will sail up faster if it's one after the other. The machine gun approach.

Compare the cost and time of opening a new mine in order to produce what JLP will be able to produce in the next years and that gives an idea of what it is worth.... and it is far more than 30p!
