13/5/2024 17:56 | When it comes down to it, it is ONLY sentiment that moves the market Ant, nothing else. Also on X, a group called The Hive @TheHiveTeams suggesting the company present to their 3,600 PI membership .... who could of course just watch the standard corporate ones like us... but all the same, we are getting noticed. | sb
13/5/2024 17:51 | So, first of all a nice little tick up at the close and a decent 700k buy at 7.685 just after the auction. Gives momentum into tomorrow. Something else going on out there today. If you remember Keith Gill (Roaring kitty on twitter and youtube)who famously pushed gamestop to ludicrous highs in 2020/21 causing chaos; well he is back. 4 tweets so far as I type this but they're coming thick and fast. Looks like he's building up for something big again. The knock on effect, especially on low share price companies can be huge. It could see people throwing money at AIM stocks and others where they hope to make it big. Of course loads of people will lose a fortune too because these meme stock surges are built on sentiment and not business performance. Anyway, if something does kick off I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't get some sort of ride on the coat tails and there's no such thing as bad publicity ;-) | 21ant
13/5/2024 14:44 | This just out | 21ant
13/5/2024 11:57 | xow, to be fair, in the podcast yesterday they said it was timing. They were "up there on bank holiday monday". I guess must've been Monday 29th April as the other recent bank holiday was on a wednesday. What's odd is that I guess they gave Jubes/Leon forward notice and weren't planning on just rocking up. So to my mind they must've known before they left if they could do the visit or not...after all it was planned in advance presumably. Its a pretty simple task arranging a site visit even if it's abroad. | wet your knot
13/5/2024 11:31 | When you say "we" xow I think you mean "they" or am I wrong? Is that from the horses mouth? | pshevlin
13/5/2024 11:06 | I do know how big my friend, I've driven across and up and down. And Zim, Malawi Kenya, Tanzania. South Africa, etc.!! | frogkid
13/5/2024 10:24 | Cannot believe you have no idea how large Zambia is, it was unavoidable as described and Jubilee was not the only reason why we where there. See XTR, GLR and AFP. | xow98
13/5/2024 10:08 | wet, I meant the numpties from the sunday roast. | pshevlin
13/5/2024 08:25 | No xow, I just like to ask more difficult questions. Were it not for last years death and water RNS I would be more trusting. | frogkid
13/5/2024 08:23 | Wrong side of the bed again Frog? | xow98
13/5/2024 08:08 | I find it hard to believe that this was not better planned. One of the highlights of the visit and then couldn't go due to bank holiday! | frogkid
13/5/2024 07:55 | Shev/Frog - I can't imagine that at any point they have just two numpties running a plant. I suppose, though, that I can imagine all of the managers being off on the "bank" holiday and so maybe they didn't have anyone around on the day to do it justice. We'll find out soon enough. | wet your knot
13/5/2024 07:29 | Not sure about the Oak geezers 3.83 per lb AISC for FY 23. Does he mean 24? | frogkid
13/5/2024 07:19 | Magic Mike posted a link on the other place | frogkid
13/5/2024 07:16 | Hi shevvers, so despite being besties with Leon, he couldn't drag himself away from the braai to show them round? Let's see what happens, only 2 weeks to go until the deadline! Where have I heard that before! | frogkid
13/5/2024 07:14 | https://theoakbloke. | frogkid
13/5/2024 07:11 | Depends who was working at the plant froggers during the holiday. They wouldn't just let two numpties wander around unaccompanied without someone who understood what was going on. | pshevlin
13/5/2024 07:11 | Yes WYK. Should be running but perhaps the front end is hanging off while the painted bit gets bolted on. I remain sceptical as is my way, Leon assured us that Roan would be completed by April and then changed it to end of May. I would love to get an early surprise RNS but the failed visit arouses suspicion.I will try to find a link for the Oak Bloke...Cheers | frogkid
13/5/2024 07:06 | Frog, who is Oak bloke??? The visit does seem a bit odd. There was a national holiday during the visit but would you shut down all of the circuits for one day? I would have thought that processing was pretty much 24/7/365 except for planned maintenance/upgrade work. Must've been someone there to show them around? I thought Roan was running at partial capacity during the upgrade? | wet your knot
13/5/2024 06:47 | Also, JLP got a good mention from the Oak bloke, which is worth a read. | frogkid
13/5/2024 06:31 | Let's look at it without the rosies on. If they went there, they would see for themselves if the electric thing had indeed been painted and was, in fact, bolted on. Went all the way to Zam and didn't go to Roan because it was a bank holiday. Pull the other one it's got bells on! | frogkid
12/5/2024 15:18 | Yes I think it’s a genuine reason for not going. Disappointing and Leon seemed keen for them to see it too but it is what it is. Won’t change anything once it’s up and running. Just need to wait for the RNS | 21ant
12/5/2024 13:49 | Can't see any problem with their reason for not seeing Roan. | pshevlin
12/5/2024 13:21 | I find the lack of Roan visit extremely bizarre and slightly troubling. They've been banging on about it for ages and then don't visit? | frogkid
12/5/2024 12:38 | 56 mins in. Appears they never went to Roan. | 21ant |
