I don't buy the macro stuff. This has been really whacked for a specific reason. There's something going on in the background. Would love to know wtf it is.

It's all over the place at the mo. Currently 270k on the bid at a 14.8p at auction.

edit: and now 40k on the bid at 15.40p for the mo.

frog, i'm down almost 100k from high but still well in profit. it still hurts on paper.
i comfort myself with the thought that it is temporary and we are expecting some good news within days or weeks.

Freedom I tend to agree and I hope it is this time. It just seems to create a few buys then continue its southerly direction.
A sudden drop then recovery is normally a very good sign the fall is over but this isn't behaving normally at all.

This price action looks to me like shorting where the object is to drive the price down in as short a time as possible; which also hits stop-loss settings producing further sellers.

You have to remember that MM's need to make money, and due to a lot of the market being on holiday, (for proof of this, note how for the past few weeks the ADVFN monitor doesn't time out within one second as it used to before the holiday season) they take advantage by trying to hit stops.

The good news is the traders should start returning from hols next week ready for when Schools go back in early September. I've seen this happen over the last 20 yrs.

You just have to check how quickly the ADVFN monitor times out to get a good indication. I have pointed this out in previous years.

So now imo is a good time to buy before the traders arrive back from hols.

I think much of it is the large amount of exposure we had at the latter end of the rise attracted too many short termers and they have got bored and now shaken out by the lack of any new information driving the share price Ad to that a constant seller and this is where we have ended up. At least it looks like we now have some buyers getting back in but above all we need some quick info on Cyprus and other new projects.

nothing has changed materially or we would know
someone wants out and has deep pockets - that's all.
