01/7/2021 10:33 | Hostile was not necessary wrt bmr as leon just hung'em out to dry. CMRS not quite in the same situation, so would have to be Hostile. Would it be worth the hassle though? Lots of deals to be made out there for much larger resources. | 1madmarky
01/7/2021 10:30 | . . Like what we did to BMR, no need to go hostile. We nibbled away, we bought some of their shares, they bought some of our shares, all in line of cobbling a deal together. We just run out the clock, earnings get distant and a cash sapping event takes it's toll. . . | bullster
01/7/2021 10:11 | Are we talking hostile T/O ? Not sure that is JLP style. | frogkid
01/7/2021 09:54 | . . Since the 4th of May RNS our share price has gone sideways whilst CMRS has gone way up. BMR was in not too different of a situation as in the fact that they had assets but little cash to exploit them. I'm not too sure if we still own 30% of the BMR shares but i do know we own Kabwe dump, save for the royalty. With a market cap of £16.6 million CMRS would be well advised to be looking over their shoulder. JLP can afford to sit on a £100 million dump at Dilokong and with an industry norm 50% share on chrome and a 34% share on pgms that produced it, would JLP not see CMRS as cheaper than their jv profit share. . . | bullster
01/7/2021 09:21 | With a P/E ratio of 15 that puts is at 30p. Quite possible by end of year, providing Biden does not make a balls up of everything | frogkid
01/7/2021 09:18 | Valid point Bullster but Rhodium is so volatile I try not to get too excited by it. | frogkid
01/7/2021 09:14 | Does anyone want to take a guess at earnings per share after tax for year ended yesterday? My guess 2.1p | alpal2
01/7/2021 09:05 | . . Here is an exercise to explore what difference the higher 12% rhodium content in the LG6 tailings of the Eastern Bushveld would have on the BBI. Note, that by adding 3% to the rhodium content a 3% value must be reduced from the other elements. I have chosen to reduce the next most valued palladium by 2% and 1% off platinum. PLATINUM 49% @ $1,059.00 $518.91 PALLADIUM 40% @ $2,682.00 $1,072.80 RHODIUM 9% @ $18,600.00 $1,674.00 GOLD 2% @ $1,764.80 $35.30 B.B.I. = $3,301 PLATINUM 48% @ $1,059.00 $508.32 PALLADIUM 38% @ $2,682.00 $1,019.16 RHODIUM 12% @ $18,600.00 $2,232.00 GOLD 2% @ $1,764.80 $35.30 B.B.I. = $3,795 Ok, this was just a muse, and the gain in value will be proportional with the percentage of LG6 tailings in the mix. But it does show the effect that the value of rhodium has on earnings, considering also that rhodium could double from here. . . | bullster
30/6/2021 21:19 | 71.2% increase in average basket for 2021. With production increase , that’s leverage... | highly geared
30/6/2021 20:01 | folks, i'm looking to add a fair few to my current JLP holding from my large ZPHR profits. Any thoughts on what the charts are saying pre mid July. Ie is this going a tad lower or are we likely to head up from here pre results. I dont want to pay 19p when its heading for 16.5p again pre results. Cheers, best of luck | jackthecat1

30/6/2021 17:11 | Bullster, thanks for the confirmation on BBI. That and confirmation of production should seal a rerate. Looking forward to mid July! | goingforarun

30/6/2021 16:55 | Thanks Bullster . The figures could be very juicy hopefully ... or do we know they are ? If this level of basket price holds for a couple of years everything they are trying to do will be self financed I would think ? | kennyp52

30/6/2021 14:24 | This is a little uncomfortable to watch but we know where we should be so not worried in the slightest. Some hopefully stonking figures shortly and much more copper contribution. II's would be foolish not to want to build stakes in this. I have enough but if we suddenly found ourselves at 15p, I would find money to add a wodge | the bull
