For a start, JLP don't get the price the metal dealers give, we take the price the smelting company give us for pgm concentrate not metal.

Kitco will buy rhodium for $15,500 and sell it for $17,500 a spread of $2,000, their profit margin.

The spread on rhodium can get to $5,000 at times because it can be volatile, so a big spread can de-risk holding stock they bought high from a sharp movement.

In last years results Jlp were getting 1,200 from the basket per ounce for pgms. Now the basket price is $800 higher. That means if the basket price stays the same we will be making an extra 48 miiloin per year for doing nothing and that’s just at 60,000 ounces.

Interesting that a large buy of 400k+ never showed up when I thought. Could it be a much larger Buy of say 2m from a fund manager/II? if so might not be reported for over a day. Also, note how the MM's have positioned the Bid & Ask so many buys go into the Sell column, I've seen this done many times in the past when they are filling a much larger Buy order. Well, I suppose we will see in a day or two if I'm right or wrong.

Wonder how many more large buys we will see in the coming weeks.

Copper breaks through the $8000 a ton glass ceiling!

Although all PGMs are important to Jubilee it is the price of Platinum which is key and accounts for roughly 60% (according to WH Ireland) of production.

Look forward to Leons commenatry on how Sable is progressing the copper production in the next results - which are due soon.

I do think JLP is at an inflection point in their progress.

If pgm & copper prices just stay as they are I reckon we will make a profit of 85-90 million this financial year.

JLP will be absolutely coining it in with PGM’s going ballistic.. with copper production ramping up , JLP in the sweetest of sweet spots in the new commodity bull run.Timing is everything and JLP have timed this perfectly...

Strength in metals is enough to provide support for JLP.
Coupled with the tjate news due to come out IMO
