04/1/2021 13:31 | He also sold out of SLP before the breakout, around 50p if I remember rightly. This guy tries to convince people he is a stock market guru, yet his trades show otherwise. | deme1
04/1/2021 13:17 | Plat it was just over 5p at the double bottom just after Oct 2020 on the charts. You have always been a player :) | deme1
04/1/2021 13:12 | Sorry I didn't mean to call you blister ....lol | nelson01
04/1/2021 13:12 | Just over 5p now is it?Shall we cut and paste all the different prices you claimed I sold on?Surprising that the complicated individuals view hard published hard facts as bitter deramping. | plat hunter
04/1/2021 13:12 | Blister, what about copper earnings. | nelson01
04/1/2021 13:01 | In the latest Investors’ Chronicle , there is a two-page interview of Alistair McKinnon , the manager of the Scottish Investment Trust ( NOT Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust ) . His fund hasn’t performed spectacularly recentlynbecause he is wary of technology stocks , fearing that they are overpriced . However , he does hold three gold miners , saying “ With governments printing streams of money to support their economies , we’re probably heading for 1970’s style inflation in the coming years “ . He likes gold companies as “ it is purely an inflationary view “ . The same argument surely applies to miners of platinum group metals . | mrnumpty
04/1/2021 12:43 | Plat, you have been increasing bitter since you predicted a crash and sold out at just over 5p. Get back on board or jog on :) | deme1
04/1/2021 12:41 | PH, You are talking about History. I am talking about the here and now and the future. Demand is, and will continue to be the key IMHO. | scrappycat
04/1/2021 12:41 | I've been invested in JLP for 6 years, deme ... my username sb gives you a clue as to how long I have been in the markets... | sb
04/1/2021 12:32 | If we can get £20M fo Tjate, some small ongoing profit take and access to the tailings, that would be good enough. | the bull
04/1/2021 12:30 | I first invested in jlp even before the tjate discovery so must be one of the longest term holders here, albeit my stake is decent but nowhere near some on here. Tjate has long been a combination of ‘jam tomorrow’ but also the potential ‘ace in the pack’. Tjate has always required mega investment to make it viable and has thus been dependent on the price of platinum combined with economic sentiment that high demand will sustain a high price. In that regard we are probably as well placed right now to see some action on tjate, and personally I would like to see either an outright sale or a major ‘ no cost to jlp JV’ so that jlp can focus on what they now do best. | millwallfan
04/1/2021 12:29 | PH Possibly, but the prospect for PGMs has changed markedly in recent times, and it looks like the current demand is only likely to increase significantly. There is one hell of a lot of PGM material at Tjate it seems. | scrappycat
04/1/2021 12:25 | 3 x sells gone through totalling 7m shares in the last 40 mins. BUT Price held. It would seem we are stuck here until these larger sells are out of the way.Clearly orchastrated trades. RNS due on such trades?? | jackthecat1
04/1/2021 12:18 | re deme1..plat price $1110.at the moment with many commentators suggesting plat will hit $2000..with that in mind you would have thought smart money would have already been taken a close look at tjate.i just hope we keep at least 15% in the deal with a free carry | daocana
04/1/2021 12:14 | Tjate LOL...Last Tjate owner got done for fraud. So JLP stepped in, diluted the shareholders, appointed him a non exec board member and gave him loads of shares. If anyone wanted tjate, they could have snapped it up years ago for pennies. | plat hunter
04/1/2021 12:10 | Thanks SB for your advice, as you have been here since Nov 2020. Some of us have been here a lot longer ;) So for the long term holders here, what are we thinking with regards to tjate now. Prices are strong and demand is only going to increase. I bet the Chinese are gutted that they did not put an offer in a few years back for tjate. | deme1
04/1/2021 12:06 | LOL SB,I must have missed where the DCM material ended up then | plat hunter
04/1/2021 12:00 | He's only doing that in your head, deme! | sb
04/1/2021 11:35 | re deme1..not many trading days now before more news and the half year results.i am expecting more gains up until and after results are out.. | daocana
04/1/2021 11:34 | Nelson I bloody earnt that fortune ;) There was a lot of risk back when I first invested. I just don't want to see Leon making promisises that will not be kept, there is no need of that now. | deme1
04/1/2021 11:31 | Give it a rest, you've made a bloody fortune in the last year on this. | nelson01
04/1/2021 11:22 | SLP starting to break out. I hope JLP are not falling back into the over promise and underdeliver again. Leon mentioned in a webcast that investors could look forward to news of a new copper deal before the end of december. Whilst I have no doubt there will be many deals going forward, I do hope that Leon does not put info out there just to woo investors! I have already had my fair share of that from Colin and Leon in the past. | deme1 |
