Does Colin and Leon still not understand what's causing the share price destruction? If you don't know the answer to that by now after many years of saying that, you both need to be FIRED.

OK geniusAny suggestions as to JLPs true basket costs and basket margin as a %. It's a valid question, so pls don't give me your standard evasive "it's all there in the financials" or the "moron" answer.

SLP keep raising the bar for investors. More than doubling their dividend.

I reminder ladies and gents, help reduce shorting in Jubilee by setting up 90 day limit sells on ALL your JLP shares at 20p+ (Losta you can set yours for 90p). Takes a few mins on line and locks up those shares

MadLoss..

I'll put you of your misery... You are confusing basket costs with achieved basket prices and basket margin.

Try again and refer to a calculator to see how woefully incorrect you are.

China is expected to dramatically ease restrictions on automobile purchases to help boost domestic consumption.

This includes new measures that will relax or lift restrictions and support the purchase of new cars, according to a new guideline that outlined 20 steps to spur economic growth issued by the State Council of the People's Republic of China.

The State Council said in a statement that local governments across 23 provinces should consider relaxing or removing restrictions on vehicle purchases and encourage purchases of new energy vehicles.

As a result, global auto stocks have stabilized this week on the news that Beijing is expected to loosen restrictions.

More importantly, platinum is up 10% in 68 trading hours on hopes China's domestic automobile industry can be revived.

So if Jubilee were to be included in the chart showing the SA platinum mine production all in cost curve, it would be approx half of the lowest cost quartile.

Somethings got to give imo.

The good thing about ETF punts is that the ETF's are backed by the physical, which ultimately has a consequence of further feeding demand and supporting stronger prices.

Further perspective on the platinum outlook with a great chart from 2017 showing SA platinum mines all in cost curve.

When we look at the marginal cost of production, we notice that 60% of South African production is being cut off at the current platinum prices, due to the high costs of production. Some of the reasons for these rising costs are deeper mining shafts and higher maintenance costs of older mines. Even though South African mine supply has been rising in recent years, surely this is not sustainable in the long term. A lot of mines will need to close down at some point.

The conclusion is that sluggish automotive demand has been hitting the price of platinum, but we see some improvement coming. For example, China has eased restrictions on automobile purchases. On the supply side, we see that South Africa is still increasing production, but this cannot be sustainable in the long run at these platinum prices. As a result, ETF investors are starting to move into platinum to bet on a rise in the platinum price in the long run.

As they say in technical analysis....the bigger the base the bigger the bull market
And jubilee have formed a massive base over the past five years just like gold and silver, now just sit back and enjoy the bull market...it’s very close.
