That might be another very lucrative avenue for JLP. Hope Leons already on top of it.

KennyPlenty companies selling themselves as a "major outfit" even fitting the description of one, with the infrastructure, project plans, potential of enormous profibility, prospects of buybacks and divies but we know the story. Eventually the only thing that needs to be "major" is delivery of profits. The rest is marketing BS, pipe dreams and a ride for the BOD and upper management. JLP is yet to prove their position and the market is clear on that. Hence the history of an erratic and currently dismal share price performance.

The Copper traders really have been putting pressure on the price of Copper for the past few weeks. hopefully they will start buying soon on the new trading cycle and when copper demand increases more they won't have much effect on the copper price in the future imo.

Ade, we could get an update anytime on those projects Leon has already informed the market that he said he will update us on, as not affected by closed periods imo.

The same situation occurred in another company. The Chair stated that they were unable to give any detailed information about the annual results but were still able to give indicative information about the companies progress. In that case she was able to state that the turnover for the year had more than doubled but not put a figure on it.

Ade,

Respectfully, we do not agree.

Under Rule 21, Directors are in closed periods for 30 days before release of financial results (expected October). Clearly JLP do not fall into the closed period before financial results.

The only other relevant closed period are dealings where JLP are in possession of unpublished price sensitive information. You can argue the toss as to whether successful commissioning is price sensitive or not, but JLP have signposted very clearly their activities and commercial consequences.

Still technically possible for an update in the next few weeks.

Notwithstanding my reply to Ade above I think we should be getting an Ops update within 3 weeks. I know the director buy wasn't massive cash-wise (was it £25k's worth) but as they are not compelled to buy any I don't think you'd dip your hand in your pocket if you were about to release a "it's all gone pear shaped" update.

Pleasantly surprised we've held mid 6s. With a reasonable update, decent forward looking statement, and no more balls ups with deliveries, we might actually gey back to recent highs within the next 6 weeks. I'm just not certain enough to start any buying spree soon !

Ade, is that a closed period because of the director purchase? There should be an Ops update by mid-August and, as previously noted, JLP have been sticking to the timings on those updates for some time now.

We also know that the results will be worth Neal having spent £30k on buying shares unless he's a complete idiot.
