If a bid came in at that tintin at the very least it would raise the share price to those levels and it may well stay there after it's rejected.

You are correct £400M is equivalent to about 13.5p - I did say opportunistic and I didn't say it would be accepted! But I do think the longer Jubilee stagnates with regards to the share price the more it becomes a sitting duck. This feeling that good times are just around the corner is getting tedious, "Jam Tomorrow" syndrome has its limits. As I said earlier its all down to metals, which I am reminded are cyclical, however the cycle doesn't seem to be turning any time soon!

Would I accept 15p? I would have to give it serious consideration.

“The Northern strategy keeps getting pushed out” .. just my view before I get shot down .. but I think it’s down to cash . The basket price fell and I believe Leon / Colin put themselves in a corner gambling they could do everything in one swoop on the back of higher metal prices / free cashflow . On top of this they said “no more placings” on the back of existing shareholder tiredness with Colin’s cannon diluting us every 5 minutes. So now they have had to identify an existing cheaper existing facility .. as I don’t think they have the capital. The loan facility has already been drawn down. They have put themselves in a corner and this , I believe , is why you hear next to nothing from the new chairman ?
Long term ? I don’t think it will make a massive difference to where Leon is taking us and believe in the company . But the share price is reflective of the lack of clarity as to exactly where JLP is at and what capital it needs to complete the projects it has embarked on and now need to see through. I’d take 15p today .. I’d want 20p+ ideally.

If everything is reported as being fully financed and completed and production flies on the back of it then a re-rate to 20p+ is an absolute given imho.

BBI is currently at $1,797 which is up from the low (past 12 months) but is still down 37% on April '22 ($2,860)
Copper is flatlining between $8,500/8,600 compared to being $10,000+ April '22.

That's what's really hurting the share price for Jubilee IMO.

China kicking back into gear is the key to metals getting back to their highs.

While Jubilee are in the doldrums there remains the chance of an opportunistic bid for the company and it's expertise - £350/400 million ???????

Daylight robbery, but I'm guessing there's a few on here that would accept the offer and run, after all the "Jam Tomorrow" promises.

More important to support expansion as long as it is profit enhancing. Dividend maybe after that (2 years?)

But the ability to support an initial dividend would support the share price as it implies a degree of financial health ( less likely use of the confetti cannon) and the stock will now appear to those that use stock screens and demand a divi before investing.

Re PE of 3, where would that put us if expected results came in at the end of the year? Even then the possibilities for expansion and greater earnings would need to be reflected in it ESPECIALLY if no dividend was being paid. Dividends tend to depress the share price as they imply less growth.

The fact is that the share price is down because there are much better opportunities if you look a bit further than your nose. The market is sick of promises and little to show for it. 7 to 8p.is fair value imo. I'm out.

The problem with JLP now is that many many companies in our sector offer a decent dividend and a very low share price.
Look at Merafe. They chrome producer with Glencore and they giving a 16 percent dividend. It's unheard of... and they trading at a PE of 3. Now look at Jubilee nothing but carrots. No wonder we already dropped 8 percent this week after lack luster news.. and more carrots for the future..
