Folks,
One of the many imponderables (amongst many wit JLP) is what impact does the new copper processing system have on throughput, as well as processing cost per unit. I don't know but would imagine energy intensive smelting is 1 expensive and 2 time consuming.
Faster processing at lower costs ?
Whats not to like?
Hopefully find out soon. Patience rewarded.

"This puts us on track to achieve our targeted 3 700 tonnes of copper over the current six-month period ending December 2022. The increased production rates are expected to further reduce our unit cost. With the delivery of Project Roan, we are on track to reach 10 000 tonnes of copper for the full twelve-month period ending June 2023, while we work to unlock the cobalt potential".

This is from the update in August 2022 and so hopefully we will see 3,700t of cu in the update due in the next 3-4 weeks.....obvs depending on the timing of the sale this may not benefit fully from the upward trend in cu price currently.

Note that H1 2022 CY cu production was 1,388t so this would be an uptick of 166%.

Note also that the increase in production rate was expected to reduce unit cost.

Is this a reversal coming Mms have accumulated plenty of stock over past week around 10.5p . So could rise quickly to 14p then come back

Jubilee Metals Group PLC (AIM:JLP, JSE:JBL, OTC:JUBPF) said it has successfully completed the water infrastructure upgrade at its Roan copper concentrator project.

Roan had faced continued water supply interruptions that severely hampered its ability to operate at design throughput levels. The installation of the new dedicated water infrastructure and upgraded power and feed supply infrastructure have been completed successfully with the restart of operations back to nameplate capacity.

The company said it has also continued to make advances in the production of cobalt and copper from waste at its Sable Refinery in Zambia.

Jubilee has focused on a direct leaching approach at Sable which by-passes the need for traditional power-intensive smelting of copper sulphide concentrates.

Unfortunately the benefit of the copper production will only be reflected in the next 6 months report ...there was a ramp up period and water supply issues during this reporting period..

In one of the interviews Leon said we are producing at full capacity which is around 1000 tonnes per month...

Indeedy copper has just broken the $9000 per ton level (Kitco lags the spot price)

On it's way to $10k - maybe.

Need to know how much Sable is producing now.

Lets hope we get some clarity on numbers.
