How can we still be in the 10s with copper now at $4 a pound.... not even going to talk about platinum..
As far as I'm concerned copper or cobalt is not priced into JLP.share price at All!
We need some road shows like how they use do in the old days!!

Personally I'm more interested in this mid January update on the Northern Strategy... it's 1 year late!!

The operational and financial update this time last year was out on the 8th Feb so not long to wait. The update on 8/2/22 had Half Calendar Year revenue/earnings so if repeated it would be pretty up to date but may not include cobalt unless they drop in a separate post-reporting period line for it.

I recall it was Rhodium driving the price back then, and I was concerned about the basket being lopsided. Like when you load a shopping basket with whisky one side and lettuce the other.

PGMs up 65% ? where does that come from?? which base point?

Compared to a year ago the BBI is down marginally (currently at $2590),- compared to six months ago its up 5%. Back in April 2021 the BBi was at a record £4200 Its all there in the header.

Just looking at the "Metals" section on Trading Economics....looks pretty green! Plat almost back up to the high it was at nearly 12 months ago. Copper almost $4/lb again. Palladium still low over the last 12 months but may be turning a corner? Not relevant to JLP but I look at it due to AAL and RIO but I think its also a good overall gauge on China....iron ore up nearly 50% since November lows.

Any predictions on when we will see the Northern Strategy update? Leon mentioned in his one interview that he will be updating mid Jan? I wonder if it will after the 6 month operations update as he will need to talk about how they go about funding the Northern expansion..??

Ade, my comment was to do with our poor price performance based on today's big increase in PGM price. I was been sarcastic.
We up 35 percent in Pgm price yet we down 60 percent. It's a mind F...
