wet your knot,

I thank you for your time to go back over the past RNS to dig out and reproduce relevent portions of text, very few take the trouble.

Whatever comes to light on the subject doesn't matter a jot, as the timeline will always be a moving target.

It was only an observation. the introducing of embargoed equipment will always perk my interest, but your counter assessment is noteworthy. Thanks.

The update in April isn't a prediction...it's an update of the state of play in April when it was issued. It says on target at that time and doesn't say "and come the end of August we reckon we'll still be on target". If there is a delay its that Phase 2 (commence commissioning) has moved from early Q3 to the now quoted November 2021 (which I interpreted as mid-Q3). Early quarter to mid-quarter could be seen as 2-4 weeks which isn't a poor turnaround in the circumstances.

The Jubilee crystal ball in April predicting everything on target, even phase 3.
Yet equipment was impounded and only released recently.
Wouldn't phase 1,2 and 3 equipment get the same impound.
Surely that must have created delays.
They couldn't have known then in April.

Lets see if the deadline is hit.

Notice in the August update that they skirt around the amount of copper produced, let alone cobalt.

p.s. prepare for a hiccup at Inyoni PGM.

Isn't Roan all on track (across the 3 phases) with the slight variation of "early Q3 2021" is now mid Q3?

24th August RNS
Project Roan successfully navigated the challenges posed by Covid restrictions and is set for completion of construction to commence commissioning during November 2021

6th August Update

Jubilee's Project Roan copper project is progressing well with the commissioning of the integrated copper concentrator scheduled to commence in Q1 2022 targeting an annual production rate of 10 000 tonnes per annum
"Achieving our first delivery, on time, of partially upgraded copper concentrate from Project Roan to the fully operational Sable Refinery was the first major step in our commitment to achieve our targeted production of 25 000 tonnes per annum of copper within the next four years. Commissioning of the integrated copper concentrator is scheduled to commence in Q1 2022"

April Update
Project Roan completes Phase 1 of 3 Phases to allow early production of intermediate copper concentrate while construction of Phases 2 and 3 remain on target

Phase 2 of Project Roan targets to commence commissioning during early Q3 2021 to produce a higher-grade intermediate copper concentrate to further increase the production of copper units prior to the completion of Phase 3 expected during Q1 2022.

These 250K trades are pretty chunky £42.5K sales, surely must be some II's reducing into strength.

It will be interesting to see where we finish today. We are around the top of the falling channel, So could have some sellers throughout the day.

Gutted I did not put my £17k in the other day but the rest of my bottom draw now looks good again.

My £17k will be going into SLP possibly today, having already put a buy order in at 76p which I don't think will get touched.

All in all, looking good here. 2023 is the time this will truly flourish IMO

Mopani in a bit more detail, difficult to know how up to date it might be.

Is it any wonder that the share price gets attacked.
We were RNS'd that Roan would begin delivering first concentrate to Sable in July.
Now yesterdays RNS tells us that imported equipment to complete the Roan facility had been impounded.

On the bright side, although the start of the projects has been delayed, the opportunity to refurbish the old Mopani facilities shortens the original timescale.

"Our Project Roan implementation team has performed exceptionally well to overcome the logistics challenges posed by shifting COVID restrictions and have now secured the release of all imported equipment for the completion of the project which is now firmly set to commence commissioning in November of this year."

Ruddy hell, that Mufulira smelter adds potential scale but would need a lot spending on it. This relationship with the government owned company could grow and grow. Was wondering if Glencore would maybe want a piece of us some time, not sure if that would go down well or not. Loving the bounceback in price and looking forward to the day we add 2p here and 2p there

The Mufulira Smelter currently processes over 400,000 tonnes of copper concentrates per annum, most of which is sourced from MCM’s mines i.e. Mufulira and Nkana mines. Concentrate and other copper bearing feed materials (e.g. copper oxides) are also obtained from surrounding operations in Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

Lol… this is ridiculous capacity .. if copper goes into high demand and a shortage JLP just positioned themselves very nicely imho.

Bull

That passage you quote is written in typical Leon 'speak' and is somewhat ambiguous, I think he refers to Jubilee's overall production increase as opposed to Mopani's.

Though I could be wrong
