25/8/2021 08:16 | Back in 2004 the Mufulira smelter used to process 400,000 tonnes of copper concentrate pa. Not a typo. lol. | gsg
25/8/2021 08:06 | Under the Agreement Jubilee is able to accelerate the implementation of its Zambian copper strategy at significantly reduced capital and project risk with the potential of increasing its production rates to utilise the available refining capacity. So 17,000 tons didn't sound that huge to me but potential to increase production is interesting. Anyone know the scale of the facility compared to Kabwe | the bull
25/8/2021 07:57 | I wonder when Leon will reveal the details of the 'extra' Mufulira tailings, that could be interesting. Referenced in passing, as though it wasn't significant ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, tintin | 9tintin
25/8/2021 07:54 | Good on you Dan, when you come out the other end, that house will be paid off and some hopefully. | the bull
25/8/2021 07:39 | Too many people trying to be clever without having the detail needed. And to entirely disregard the growth potential in conjuring a party pooping post surely misses the point of what drives the price. And why pray should the P/E ratio remain the same as that potential is revealed...? Nonsense. | sb
25/8/2021 05:21 | Pretty much done that Bull. Family and friends thought I was nuts. Staring down the barrel at 2p, so did I. | danieldanrichardson
24/8/2021 23:23 | hxxps://www.mining-t Jubilee have definitely moved into Zambia now and become a favoured player. I think we will eventually look back on this dip and wonder why we do not release equity in our houses and go all in. PLEASE - that is not investment advice | the bull
24/8/2021 22:50 | 58p EPS … wow … we made it .. roll on £3 tomorrow . Timhigginson there is an EDIT option .. suggest you use it ? 🙄 | kennyp52
24/8/2021 20:01 | Sorry but if you can't proof read what you post - then credibility goes out of the window. One assumes there was a decimal point missing - LOL Next year this will be a completely different animal, just need to wait for the metals to reflect the disconnect between supply and demand- things are only just getting started. Copper will be the new gold,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, tintin | 9tintin
24/8/2021 19:14 | EPS of 58p!-don’t think that is correct-on a p/e of 7 this would give a share price of circa £4! which would be excellent-maybe in 10 years time but not now | moneyman50
24/8/2021 19:12 | I don't get your eps figures? | iantrader2
24/8/2021 19:01 | Part of the recent share price problem has been to keep the p/e in line with year to 30/6/2020. The profit after tax was shown in the audited accounts to 30/06/2020 as just over 18m and the EPS as 93p. However the 18m was arrived at by including a tax credit of over 4m so the pretax profit was 15m off which there should have been a tax charge of 3.75m. This would have produced an EPS of 58p. In the year to 30.6.21 even if the pretax profit increases proportionally to the turnover if a full years tax charge is deducted this infers practically no increase in the EPS. The year to 30/06/2022 is looking to be similar in profit terms to 2021. The upshot is that I am not getting too excited about a large rise in the share price in the near future although maybe 22p by Christmas. How's that for a party pooper! | timhigginson
24/8/2021 16:46 | So removes the need for one of the concentrator builds planned for the Kitwe area. Saving time and money, and bringing revenue generation forward. "Jubilee CEO Leon Coetzer commented: ‘The agreement will see Jubilee refurbish and expand some of Mopani's processing facilities currently not in use and removes the need to build a new processing facility to process the nearby tailings deposits we secured last year." | gsg
24/8/2021 16:21 | shev you won't get this until xmas post load up on here | adejuk
24/8/2021 15:47 | I told you we would be kicking ourselves Frog LOL | deme1
24/8/2021 15:06 | Also nice to see Palladium bouncing over the last couple of days! | goingforarun
24/8/2021 15:03 | Quite apt. Copper price chart seems to be scaling up nicely today. | gsg
24/8/2021 14:53 | I'm fully loaded here so can anyone say whether it is worth putting a bit of cash into SLP or would it be better overloading this? Answers on a postcard please. | pshevlin
24/8/2021 14:10 | Pull back when America woke up, are funds over there the seller? | robers98
24/8/2021 13:38 | JLP comment right at the end | gsg
24/8/2021 13:38 | Fantastic, quality RNS. Would it be right that Mufulira is owned by Mopani and therefore ZCCM? If so, there's more delicate negotiations ahead - ZCCM will want to profit from it's tailings being used first (Elephant, Mufulira) and JLP will want to process Lechwe first as planned. It seems that JLP has already managed to negotiate Lechwe tailings to have priority over Elephant (Elephant being adjacent to the refinary). Hopefully that will last! | 5teadyeddie
24/8/2021 13:26 | The history of mopani is quite sad, google zambia good copper bad copper and watch the film about what a bunch of crooks glencore were, lets hope Jubilee can behave in a bit more ethical way ..... | catsick
24/8/2021 13:22 | Crikey! I sold out yesterday. Fed up of the decline. I think I got that call wrong! | pclayt
24/8/2021 13:19 | Looks to be an intraday battle for supremacy at this level. Hopefully resistance will be broken to the upside. | gsg |
