looking at the trades this drop is scaring the ordure out of a lot of small holders.
maybe that's the point.
i still hold 1.7 mill
200k of which were a trade that turned into a hold

If it is a whopper of a deal including building a whole new sable, the cannon could well feature but it would move the company on to a whole new level and after the groaning of the initial drop, the new forecasts would come forth and multiply the share price

btw, that is not the point. this is an sme with very few income sources.
i am not an accountant [thank the lord ] but i think even i could do a balance sheet for jlp.

Ian .. 2nd that .. if Leon has loads on his plate that the RNS takes longer to get out then fine. I'd rather he was making sure the ounces and projects are moving forward.

They are not here to benefit short term traders. So, if they are focusing on LT investors, the timing of news releases in relation to daily fluctuations in the share price is an irrelevance not an indication of incompetence.

sb. they can see the share price losing almost 20% in a month. they have access to prod and income figures yet they delay reporting. there is no allegation of corruption, simply incompetence. even if the figures are stunning they are complicit in allowing this drop drip to continue when they have the information to reverse it. if there is market sensitive info they are under an obligation to report it.

JLP have an impressive percentage of IIs. They will all have completed DD one assumes, and must have been happy with this, and the price they bought in at. As I said, there will be a good reason for the delay in the update imo.

most well run co's have a cfo who would issue results
if a co like direct line with a turnover of billions and multiple income sources can issue today, what prevents a sme like jlp from issuing much earlier? it's not that complicated, is it? this company lost the trust of the city for their lack of transparency. they have begun to regain it with the strength of performance. this reminds me of the old days. wtf is going on with jlp we used to ask.

I just had a look at todays trades and certainly looks like someone is trying to manipulate the share price by buying encouraging others to buy then selling all those bought even at a loss to encourage more to sell. Why would someone do that if I'm right?? Could it be someone who wants to buy over 1m so tries to get the share price down as low as possible. Here are just some of the matching trades today, it's quite possible that some of the rounded number trades are linked too, but that's 50/50 whether they are or not.

Num. 29 matched with trade 55

Num. 39 matched with trade 56

There are others too.

IF! the above are all linked then for what other reason would they trade that way when there was very good buying before they started to sell. It's not as if the person decided to sell after lots of sells went thru, they sold imo to try and influence others to sell.

Deals, T/O, etc. should be communicated in separate RNS's, not as an annexure (of some sort) in a H2 update.
