EBITDA for 2021 looks light, I think most on here are expecting £70m+!

Nimrod on the other place just posted that July article from TMI. Well worth another read.

This was from April/May 2021, says the same thing. My question was any idea on timescale from "execution" to first production?: “Looking ahead to next steps, I am confident of the completion of Phase 2 of Project Roan on time during Q3 2021, which will further increase the copper concentrate being delivered to the Sable Refinery. With Project Elephant progressing simultaneously and on track to enter the execution phase of the project by August this year, I look forward with confidence to update shareholders as we progress.”

The completion of the design work for the Company's second copper processing facility, Project Elephant, whereby Jubilee has secured the rights to approximately 150 million tonnes of copper containing surface tailings, is progressing well and remains on track to enter the execution phase for the project by August 2021.

That may be why the update has not yet been released

From an update earlier this year Project Elephant was to enter "execution" phase by August 2021. I guess that means commencement of the physical equipment/plant as the first step beyond planning/design? If so what sort of timeline to first production?

It’ll be nice if we get the same kind of share price reaction! Need something to kick start things?

Project Elephant was only scheduled to be built at the end of 2021.

Roan phase#2 could deliver concentrate to Sable in Q3 or Q4, with Roan phase#3 delivering some time after that.

Zinc should be up and running Q3-Q4.

Totally agreed on tempering expectations, I thought Project Elephant volume is going to start delivering Q3 onwards?

Bullster, good post in reply to Cappa. I agree with you at circa 2,000. I do not see how it can be much more, with the info we have available. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but clutching figures from thin air with no valid explanation give others the wrong message. Seen it many times with other shares where a positive RNS is somewhat negatively received purely down to false expectations. So we’ll done on your factual correction. Hope we get the update this week and hope for confirmation that everything is going to plan. Kee0 up your informative posts, always a good read. BB2.

Cappajumping,

Your expectations of 10k tonnes of copper production for 2021 highlight your lack of research.
W.H.Irelands' broker note to end of March 2021 reported total copper production to be 1k tonnes from existing tailings which helped dial in the refinery.
We now know that Roans delivery may add 240 tonnes per month at end of July and maybe the 150 tonnes from the run of mine contract hit its target for June.
Copper production began around October, last year, so total production should be around 2k tonnes to end of August.

Sorry, but i felt it necessary to reel in your figure and before others latch on to it, only to think JLP have underperformed. Likewise, the run up to 25k per year could take another 3.5 years.

Does anyone here get the Momentum Investor and if so was there any mention of JLP in the last edition seeing as it was a main pick the month before? Press interest seems to have dried up a bit recently.

For those interested JM MetalsDaily website is now updated for Iridum/Ruthenium/Rhodium again on a daily basis. I had emailed them about 3 weeks ago and ta dah now fixed. Showing Rh 18400. Kitco price also strengthened slightly this week. Am getting slightly fixated on a post year end update from Leon now, hoping it is to say that we processed 10k tonnes of copper so far in 2021.

I know what it’s like adejuk and more. Sorry. It does seem to be that you are panicking a wee bit. Have a glass or a bottle or two of wine and hang on in there. I don’t believe it will be long before some profits could be taken or for the longer termer and younger can hold for more gains.
