When Jubilee completed the Roan deal back in June of 2020 the price of copper was $5,800 a ton and the margin to Jubilee was in the region of $1,800/2,000 a ton.

Now in production, just ten months later the numbers are astounding - the margin leaps to c $6,000 a ton.

All this without Jubilee doing anything different, Leon played a blinder doing the copper.

21/22 production could reach 10k tons as concentrator capacity increases giving earnings in the region of £60M.

Any further increase in the value of the metal and it gets silly,,,,,,,,,,,

The future is RED!

I'm impressed. Great move by JLP. Hot off the mark. Jubilee with attitude.

The "value to it" is that it is a sign JLP are actively looking for new jurisdictions in which to operate. Australia is probably difficult at the moment due to Covid but if we get a foothold over there it will change the game even further.

I wouldn’t ascribe any value to it atm as it’s essentially an option agreement at this stage and might come to nothing.
I’m solely interested in JLP delivering on Zambia as that will double the share price in the next 12-18 months.

highly geared

It is difficult to value a possibility at this stage.

Good enough RNS giving potential down the line. For all those complaining we aren't up much, shares don't rise every day or just because you expect them to. We had a decent rise last week and stand back and look at the capital appreciation here since last summer. I am not complaining one jot and will settle with a firm price today which is what we have atm

JV will depend on the deal. 50/50 would be a no-no if we are putting in all the IP and effort.

It obvious why CMRS is up and we are not.

They have just announced that a tailings processing outfit is interested in their tailings and CMRS will receive a free carry.

Just like if we announced that we have had a partner interested in funding tjate with us getting the free carry.

Let's hope it goes better than our nickel venture a while back
