@TheBull - I'm 11 years away from worrying about that!
57 will be the earliest I can access it - grow it as much as i can till then.

Will also investigate the possibility of setting up a SASS pension to fund a business in the future - credit Platts Hunter for that idea!

Tony, these daily/weekly small rises are healthy and sustainable IMO. That said we might get a bonanza 30% one day and I might be tempted to trade a few then. My last purchase was at 13 something and I was worried I was overpaying!

The only risk I can see is when speculators come in and a commodities bubble forming and then deflating. But currently the rise is based on fundamentals.i.e a deficit in Platinum production. The copper price maybe a touch of speculation..

Ade, you could be right but the share price started to motor again after pausing when plat shot up so I do think the current leg is more to do with Macro outlook for metals. Now once we start producing copper from Rohan I am expecting another significant leg up which would be based on the markets validation of the JLP business plan and future prospects as an investment.

Looks like another 8 million shares may hove been gobbled up by an open buy order by one of our Blue Chip friends. Not showing in the trading records at all, but showed very briefly as a trade.

And an average electric vehicle requires 83kg of copper!

adejuk,

I suggest you make sure you include Copper. Whatever happens in the green world, countless miles of Copper wire will be required, if only for transmission services. Even if we conquer nuclear fusion, it will require massive amounts to be utilised in plant building all over the globe.

Just mho, of course.

i disagree
that is not the only reason for the rise
this is a growing company and expanding into different sectors and geographies
margins are high in every product and growing
and we have a top notch ceo
