16/6/2020 15:53 | VERY glad we are becoming a multi commodity producer, as I'm pretty sure that level of caution would not be evident if it were a copper prospect. | 1madmarky
16/6/2020 15:26 | Well if this is evidence of sentiment throughout the industry then we can forget almost certainly forget about Tjate for the time being. However the flip side of that coin is that JLP is certainly well placed when it cones to providing near cash flow solutions."Nico Muller, CEO of Implats, said in March that he didn't want to make "a life altering decision" in deciding to invest in Waterberg. "We can't make a big cash flow decision with an uncertain outcome ... We do favour near cash flow which is why we are treading cautiously," | plat hunter
16/6/2020 14:05 | Implats pulls plug on further investment in Waterberg JV as COVID-19 changes risk appetite IMPALA Platinum (Implats) will not invest further in the Waterberg Joint Venture, a large palladium-rich project in South Africa’s Limpopo province. Its partner in the project, Platinum Group Metals (PTM), said in an announcement today it had received notice from Implats that the COVID-19 pandemic had led to a re-evaluation in its risk appetite “.. in the short, medium and long term”. In terms of an option agreement, Implats had to decide whether to extend its 15% stake in the joint venture to 50.01% and carry on with development costs. Waterberg was scoped for first production of some 420,000 ounces of platinum group metals from 2023 following investment of as much as $874m. Full production was planned for 2027. | robers98

16/6/2020 11:34 | So come August when many companies will be posting dire figures (albeit they should be back up and running but no where near pre Covid) JLP will be showing the best numbers ever, understandable as we are only now really turning into a money machine. With revenues almost as much as today's Mcap. Surely people will have to take notice then! | deme1
16/6/2020 11:31 | Last year we had a project update in June another in July and then backed up by the eoy in August.Perhaps a little update on Copper wouldn't go a miss right now | plat hunter
16/6/2020 09:49 | They know the virus will not go away without a vaccine. Best to open up the economy and have a successful track and trace system in place. We do only hear the bad in the news. South Korea were remarkable at controlling the virus, yet we only really heard of them recently due to another small outbreak. Now they have that under control you will not hear about it in the news. Same with China, another small outbreak and it's all over the news. As long as metal prices remain strong or improve, then JLP are well positioned IMO | deme1
16/6/2020 09:44 | "Perhaps western governments have decided that just opening up and getting on with it is worth the risk." Is there a choice? Mass unemployment = mass unrest | 1madmarky

15/6/2020 20:19 | Hopefully Dow only slightly up, considering the measures from the FED then it should be up a lot more. Not jumping the gun, keeping my buy orders. Hoping that China contains the latest outbreak and that we are at the peak in SA as the curve looks pretty steep. | deme1 |
