Something did happen months ago. Read the full article, the unit they have just shut down was commissioned to take over from the previous unit.

"In March, Anglo American Platinum announced the temporary shutdown of the entire Anglo Converter Plant, part of the chain of processing facilities, and declared force majeure.

The Company’s ACP phase A converter plant at the Waterval smelter in Rustenburg, North West Province, was also damaged following an explosion within the converter on February 10. The phase B unit was commissioned to take over from the phase A plant."

Leon is working a placing in the background which will happen this month

rumours suggest it will be 3p and not 2.5p

Placing needed to keep the lights on because they don't have enough cash

Leon has 23m shares inc options. 7m shares, 8m at 3.5p strike, 4m at 4p strike and 4m at 6p strike. If the stock went to 10p, one can calculate he would net exactly £1.62m so he's not entirely lacking in incentives.

Just out of interest ... how much salary sacrifice has Leon effectively taken and for what options . I could research it but if someone has this to hand it is an interesting counter to the negative posts that Leon has no shareholding .
