13/10/2019 19:42 | The scale of ERG's greenfield copper cobalt tailings project in DRC ,once again convinces me that Jubilee is in the right place at the right time. ERG's advanced-stage construction project, Metalkol RTR, in the Haut-Katanga province will reprocess cobalt and copper tailings previously deposited in the Kingamyambo Tailings Dam and Musonoi River Valley. The two tailings deposits host approximately 112.8mt of resources at an average grade of 0.32% cobalt and 1.49% copper. In Phase 1, Metalkol RTR is expected to produce 14ktpa of cobalt in hydroxide and 77ktpa of copper cathode. Production started in the fourth quarter of 2018. Completion of Phase 1 commands a total capital investment of approximately $650m, which has been secured through a financing package with a Chinese consortium including EPC contractor China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Company (NFC). A subsequent expansion, Phase 2, may increase production to an average of 24kpta of cobalt and 120kpta of copper. | gsg
13/10/2019 19:33 | Kenny52, very true. I am also one for fundamental- before technical analysis. But the beauty about technical analysis (for me) is that lately, more people are watching only the charts and they all see the very same scenario at play. Technical traders do not care what drives (or causes) the pattern. They also tend to act collectively on these set-ups, and that makes it easy to predict market movements. E.g. when a cup-and-handle pattern provides confirmation of a bullish movement, the technical traders will enter in concert, thus pushing the price upwards. When they exit, also at a predetermine level, they will push the price down again. They argue that the fundamentals are in the price-action, not the other way around. | mikebolle1
13/10/2019 17:20 | Listened that podcast 3 times now... best one yet made me think about the Eland deal with Northam.Very clever, Northam get paid to watch a sales pitch and demonstration. | plat hunter
13/10/2019 08:03 | Cup and handle eh ... sure it’s not just the fact they might be making a profit for the first time that is starting to rev this share price ? | kennyp52
13/10/2019 07:57 | I normally don't work on Sundays but I am bored. There is a clear cup-and-handle pattern completed on JLP, not perfect though. The formation of the cup goes back to mid Jan 18 and completed 08 May 19. The handle was completed early Sept 19. This is a bullish reversal pattern so, let us set back and see... good luck all. | mikebolle1

11/10/2019 18:16 | Anyone would think the company has been very successful ... the only way to measure success in business is profit . It’s a bit cringeworthy if the financials come out and there is no maiden profit . I cannot see someone stating all this unless they know they are “growing earnings” leading to profits . | kennyp52
11/10/2019 17:57 | Yes :-) that's pretty damn big! No guarantee that it will lead to anything but we are certainly starting from a favourable position. | 1madmarky
