"Get JLP in to release the economic value for them ;)" and the government is by this time well aware that we can do it.

"He has since asked the mining firm to surrender the tailing dams to government if there was nothing of economic value."

We all know there is economic value in the tailings

So do they

1. Hand them over to the government
2. Get JLP in to release the economic value for them ;)

For the answer refer to the link posted a couple of weeks ago.

Mines Permanent Secretary Paul Chanda threatened that his Ministry will be forced to review the licenses in order for the Tailings to be taken care of.

Mr. Chanda told ZNBC News that the license holders have not secured the Tailings, leading to them polluting the environment.

Meanwhile, the Zambia Mining Environmental Remediation and Improvement Project will soon embark on rehabilitating Tailings dams which will show the potential they have in the nation.

Project National Coordinator Gideon Ndalama said the first Tailings dam to be renovated will be in Mufulira.

Maybe give the licence to someone who can do something with it?

" What will government do with tailing dams?"

Outsource them to a company that can reduce their economic impact and hand over a percentage of the profits ;)

In deme's article above: "He has since asked the mining firm to surrender the tailing dams to government if there was nothing of economic value." What will government do with tailing dams?

In a few words Skipper, ‘highly unlikely.’ Here's a few more:

It wasn’t simply ii’s that bought in at the low two’s, and some PI’s took a nice slice in that price region. No doubt, some have crystallised significant gains. If they choose to get on the merry-go-round again, the ‘ride’ price will probably be lower than their exit price. If not, there are plenty more rides in the fair ground. Meanwhile, some on their respective horses still can’t fathom why the ride has gone into reverse – it’s enough to make them sick, no doubt. The merry-go-round has miraculously turned into a roller-coaster – ups and downs are guaranteed. PI’s have one advantage over the ii’s – they do not have to wait until the whole roller-coaster is sold but can make a ‘chunky’ exit during an upswing. I don’t think we have seen the last of the upswings but it does remind me of musical chairs........

That error on the RNS has still not been corrected. Take some pride Leon. How can it take so long to correct and report the correct number? It's the principle of the matter that counts. You truly are an idiot.

How does your DCM PGM calculation work?

Is it how much they get from refining the tailings or is it how much they can process from the ever growing PGM stockpile?

Yep, Leon got a bit stuck on that word "significantly". But give the guy a chance - English isn't his first language.
Otherwise, it was an excellent and informative interview. Leon trailed a copper / cobalt deal in Zambia heavily, so negotiations for that are clearly quite well advanced.
I'm surprised we're down today, but that's how AIM is sometimes. The big picture is still looking very good.
