28/3/2019 16:30 | . . mikebolle1, Dilution is always included in the earnings per share, as it is calculated on the weighed average of shares in issue for the period. Mike, let me make you ten times more pleased as the eps is 0.06p per share. Looking forwards, the eps is set to be higher for the full year despite the recent additional 550M or so shares, because earnings will be higher in the second half. . . | ![]() bullster

28/3/2019 15:49 | I am very pleased with a EPS of 0.006 pence. Even with the recent dilution we are still positive, about 0.004 pence. For me it is evidence of the responsible manner in which these placings are managed, they create value. | ![]() mikebolle1

28/3/2019 15:20 | SP will rise when metals improve - did not happen SP will rise when kabwe is official - did not happen SP will rise when JLP goes into profit- did not happen. any other ideas what will make this dog move? maybe a share buyback LOL | ![]() deme1
28/3/2019 15:04 | A low metal price environment will make JLP seem attractive to partners forma cost control POV. A high metal price environment makes JLP seem attractive because of the multiplied effect of leveraged earnings as a result of low costs. Either way, JLP looks like a recession proof cyclical business. | ![]() plat hunter
28/3/2019 14:17 | Been trying to think of potential outcomes to the DCM PGM saga. Maybe JLP are looking to create a similar partnership to the one they have with Northam, however with a facility more local to Dilokong. Anglo / ARM's Modikwa Platinum mine is just down the road from Dilokong on the south side of Driekop. Just thinking out loud. edit: Implats Marula facilty appears to be the same distance away, to the north. | ![]() gsg
28/3/2019 14:14 | I'd take 10p by year end though Frog, that would be a 3 bag for me. All in time to lump in on the majors, for the last phase of the economical cycle. Then before lumping it all in Gold. Should be a very exciting 4 years coming up regardless :-P | ![]() plat hunter
28/3/2019 14:06 | the drag on the price is Malema spouting off, seemingly without rebuke, and the incessant placings. I am not bothered about the placings where they are value adding but to an outsider you have to wonder where the entry point is. Hopefully tomorrow will see some holdings RNS to give us ba picture where we are. My money is on Glencore and that this has been their chance to build a stake without driving up the share price Time will tell whether they will build a larger position with a view to a you know what!If that happens in 2019 we will be lucky to see 10p. | ![]() frogkid

28/3/2019 13:55 | shares - gold now looking at a second attempt to test that 1250. This has the hallmark of a deliberate takedown - the COT reports showed considerable short exposure by the so called 'smart money'. On the plus side this should be fairly short lived and a perfect op to top up for the second leg. | ![]() boris cobaka

28/3/2019 13:11 | Selling shares is a bit like selling TV's or cars. Doesn't matter what kind of bargains you are offering people, if they can't find you then you're not going to sell any. JLP however are now starting to dress that widow display it would seem. | ![]() plat hunter

28/3/2019 11:47 | Defiantly long term hints on the cards for Copper and Zambia sharenotes.. It's interesting that the mentions of copper and cobalt and always in the same breath of Zambia. For me this is indication of future Glencore deals or strategic partnerships. | ![]() plat hunter
28/3/2019 11:18 | RNS content: “.... the evaluation of various mine waste opportunities and the development of suitable metal recovery processes to diversify across multiple commodities and in different countries including platinum, chrome, cobalt, copper, zinc, lead, vanadium and gold to hedge income risk and to align with global trends” JLP have been banging on about cobalt and copper for long enough – a coded message hidden in plain sight perhaps? Hedging income risk – I like the way they are thinking (inversion curves and all). | ![]() sharenotes

28/3/2019 09:09 | A profit is an unexpected bonus, it’s impressive that they managed to keep g & a costs on a pretty even keel despite the overall increase in business activity. | ![]() fozdad
28/3/2019 08:50 | Chopper given the amount of profit equals just shy of the amount of Platcro chrome earnings. If it wasn't for the dilution to purchase that asset, there would be no profit here at all. Take the latest batch, MCAP increased by almost a third but share price unmoved over the 12 month period. Resulting profit from said exercises will make today's report look negligible. Dilution does have a time and place. The problem is when it's used incorrectly for cash flow or for projects that don't come to fruition. Anyway glad you're happy for now. | ![]() plat hunter
