If you honestly think that Leon and company can pull off any deal with any big boys, then you're a fool. These guys don't seem to have the brains or ability to pull anything off. The only ability they have is how to successfully fleece investors with jam tomorrow stories. But, tomorrow never comes

Goldibucks, you quoted me wrong. Let me assist you: "no news from JLP"..."means bad news". Its not my intention to say jlp is bad news...please. I am merely summarising what I see on this threat. I'm one for not too much info. I also agree with your statement: "We now have earning with more being added currently..." And this is my point, we don't need a weekly, monthly update (like in the past). Thus I'm saying: no news does NOT mean bad news, like some suggest here.
My last point; I am a CFD day trader. I'm entering positions on the Wall Street 30 Index, not individual companies, and most definitely not jlp...that would be crazy.

“no reported profit for jubilee” The angle is to spot when a loss is going to turn into a profit. That’s one of the best paid gigs in investing.

“Why did jubilee not report the delay to shareholders in this RNS?” Maybe they don’t think a 3 month delay in the further refining of PGMs at Eland as opposed to the preprocessing at PlatCro is worthy of an RNS announcement. As I explained to you if you used DCF to value JLP a 3 month delay on part of the total processing on one project would hardly register. Also, we are assuming a 3m delay. I’ve noted that they are now referring to PGM AND chrome refining at Eland following the PlatCro chrome deal. Northam said PlatCro chrome refining will start in March, i.e. AFTER February as previously noted by JLP. Northam also didn’t refer to the refurbishment being behind schedule in their announcement and you’d think they’d know. Even if there was a slight delay, it’s a delay in a third party refurbishing their plant, it’s not JLP’s fault.

I think it could be down to changing plans. Originally we were just going to haul the tailings to Eland and then process. Then the purchase of PlatCro looked possible so perhaps they looked at it as a whole and decided that they could get more out of it. Along came the fine chrome tech that I'm assuming Northam will want to install. So why race to get the concentrator online when the chrome operation won't be ready...
Don't know but the time scales are controlled by Northam, not us, so it will be ready when Northam want it ready. Just a shame as I was hoping Q2 would have a full quarter of PlatCro PGM operation. Regardless the company should continue quarter on quarter improvements in earnings.

Morning Marky..They could well need us for the processing of the tailings of the rhodium mining activity too.The delays at Eland may well be down to protracted negotiations... I found this very exciting, Northam have made no secrets about their desire to work with and even a aquire a collection network

“It is a fact that JLP, to date, have not recorded a probable financial year.” They are profitable at the bottom line right now. H1 will show a small loss. H2 will show a profit and it will be bigger than the H1 loss.

“JLP means bad news. Am I right?” No, you’re wrong. It’s 27 Feb, we had an update on 17 Jan. We’ll get a Q1 update around 24 Apr. In previous years JLP had no earnings so “news” was all shareholders could hope for. We now have earning with more being added currently so for once JLP are focusing on delivering rather than pandering to day traders between placings.

Leon what's going on at DCM pgms? You said by the December period we will know from the DMR. What is this about "a lot needs to be cleared off the table" We can't wait till Collin Bird is 95 before we start processing pgms

Plat - from your link "Northam is currently refurbishing Eland’s concentrator and in the next few months will start to recover chrome and platinum from tailings"

Again suggesting that the concentrator is still work in progress.

And "Eland will require very little capital and be at the lower end of the cost curve. Production will run at about 120,000 tonnes/month, less than the previous mining rate, and the focus will be on quality, long-life production"

Suggests using PlatCro as an example, that they will have around 20,000 tpm of PGM rich material. Hence they need us to make up the numbers.

Morning all. I am still around, just caught up in some day trading activities. The general economic conditions drew me back into it.
But, looking at the general trend on this threat it seams that there is consensus that no news from JLP means bad news. Am I right? I am disappointed on the lack of news but I really don't think that nothing is happening in the jlp offices, etc. Guess time will tell...

Quarterly Operations Update Q4 2018 Highlights • Combined quarterly operational earnings attributable to Jubilee up 13% to GBP 2.17 million (ZAR 40.08 million) • Hernic PGM* quarterly production sets new record up 4% to 6 279 ounces over a historically challenged festive season • DCM fine chrome project commenced commissioning and is delivering to specification high grade chrome concentrate • PlatCro PGM Project commenced operation of its hydro-mining and dewatering facility • PlatCro Chrome transaction implemented in accordance with the sale and purchase agreement

No mention of delay at Eland mine by jubilee management. Why did jubilee not report the delay to shareholders in this RNS?

It is a fact that JLP, to date, have not recorded a probable financial year. It is also a fact that they have had delivery and due diligence shortfalls and a string of other legacy issues These facts are highly relevant to the basis of my opinion. FrogAgree about the impending cycle. But I did say near to medium term. No longer interested in 5 years onwards with JLP, as I believe serious SA Issues will be weighing down the local industry by that point. And not convinced, to date, of their offshore delivery capabilities.

“the constant dillution and destruction of the share price maybe?” There were no earnings, dilution and share price destruction were inevitable. Now we have earnings with more earnings to come, a destroyed share price, and fear.

JLP is a fruit machine that’s never paid out, it’s full to the brim with other people’s money, Q1, Q2 and Q3 are the reels and they are going to spin three jackpots.

We faired the same as we faired in December when the market got hammered - no movement. JLP will move when it reports higher quarterly project earnings and higher palladium prices with DCM fine chrome, PlatCro PGM pre-processing and PlatCro chrome will contribute to that in Q1. While we’re waiting 7 weeks for that to get reported, and it will, the share price isn’t moving up or down. What’s not to like?
