I think Boris wrote this for the BOE

The Bank of England must have a “laser focus” on keeping inflation expectations in check after the pandemic, Chief Economist Andy Haldane said, highlighting the tricky balance the nation faces in managing its massive debt burden.

While the BOE is willing to let price growth temporarily overshoot its 2% target as the economy emerges from the current crisis, there can be no question of letting that sentiment become entrenched, he said. Any country that lets inflation expectations spike would see bond yields rise, boosting the cost of debt repayments and undermining the recovery.

German Health Minister Jens Spahn appears to have got himself into trouble over his business dealings, so a resignation on the cards?? We await developments, but the man was seen by many as the successor after next to Merkel.

Being one of Merkel's Ministers is like being a football manager, first she expresses confidence and soon after 'her deep regrets' at the resignation. She has dispensed with dozens of potential rivals and successors over the years.

Eurocrats turned down 200 million extra batches of the German-developed Pfizer vaccine to avoid offending the French, meaning huge delays and more potential lockdowns. Meanwhile, the UK has already vaccinated over 500,000 people!

When the Communists/Globalists/DeepState try to sneak provision in funding bill nullifying @realDonaldTrump power to invoke the Insurrection Act, you know they are planning an insurrection.

Steady. Be prepared. Pray.

Joe Biden *could* clear the air by calling for full election transparency.

But he doesn’t.

Because he knows what it would reveal.

Those brilliant minds at the BBFC think it's not appropriate for a white actor, the late great Max von Sydow, to play a non-white character, even though Ming is from the planet Mongo and no actors from that constellation were available in 1980, still aren't in fact.

Once again, @Nigel_Farage nails it, the EU's intransigence and deviousness have not gone unnoticed by the British people. It's clear so many of the actions of the EU are derived from bitterness and jealousy.

$600 is a slap in the face to every American struggling due to the pandemic. You deserve better.

I voted against the 5,593-page spending bill that gave billions to corporate interests, the military industrial complex & other countries, leaving crumbs for you who need help most.

Eddie Izzard is switching into “girl mode” and now wants to be referred to as female. This is as daft as a white celeb switching into “black mode” and demanding that everyone refer to him as a person of colour. Stop this nonsense, says Brendan O’Neill

Britain doesn’t feel very free at the moment. And that’s bad news for Britain, certainly, but also for the world. Because – uniquely – British identity and our long heritage is rooted in the ideal of individual liberty. But what does this mean in the age of Covid?

History will show the big mistake the Europhile anti democratic UK establishment and remainer elite has made was to try and overturn the result of the 2016 EU Referendum.

As a consequence of their appalling behaviour, the last 4 and a half years have been very useful for the people of this country in two respects - firstly, it has shined a very strong light on the EU and the appalling behaviour of its arrogant, self serving, unelected and unaccountable leadership and secondly, demonstrated to us that the breathtakingly condescending British Establishment does not believe in democracy and will pursue any and every underhand tactic it can get away with, in order to try and get its own way.

The genie is now firmly out the bottle - the UK electorate now know the EU is a hugely corrupt organisation run by mostly third rate politicians from former communist regimes that you cannot trust under any circumstances to negotiate anything in good faith.

Boris if he had any bollo*ks should tell them that we're leaving next week and will trade thereafter under WTO rules and that they can stick their punishment beating Withdrawal Agreement where the sun don't shine !

Yes of course it's down to more tests being done, but mainly it's because the cpr tests they use have a 60%-80% false positives reading .. And so the imbeciles in control can go into lockdown Willy nilly, by using fake numbers!!!
