11/8/2017 16:26 | I am sure 'Letmepas's will set out, employing his usual five or less word posts, why exactly a Scandinavian media mogul buying 5% of the company is all 'smoke and mirrors'! | evil_doctor_facilier
11/8/2017 16:21 | Doubt it.. All smoke and mirrors | letmepass
11/8/2017 16:11 | Really pleased for the long suffering shareholders hopefully this comes off. | fewdollarsmore

11/8/2017 10:05 | Where did you get those additional quotes from Evil doctor? Whilst this is undoubtedly good news for the company, I'm still puzzled as to what resolution there can be that actually ascribes any value to the equity. Not saying it is not doable , I just cant personally see how yet. | kazoom
11/8/2017 09:36 | I expect 30p on decent financing. Just sitting back and holding tight. Buy at 16.25p. Good day so far. | sidjameslaugh

11/8/2017 09:23 | post from LSE thread sums it up nicely: gazman Posts: 55 Observation Opinion: Strong Buy Price: 15.00 RE: niceToday 08:59JPR if they do refinance the debt at 3% will not have to pay 220million at todays bond discounts I'm guessing around 160 million , so current profit would easily cover the repayment and with our national paper the I newspaper improving revenues its easily a buy. At todays share prices is suggests JPR only worth 16 million when its making 50 million EBITA so easily at PE of zero should be worth 50p. once debt consolidation sorted we should see a steady rise GLA | pre
11/8/2017 09:21 | Caution is needed here, the big picture is that it has a huge debt and question remains on how the business is to pay back that debt regardless the interest rate is 3% or 8.5%. Buying equity now is a gamble imv but good luck to all the holders. | patience a virtue
11/8/2017 09:10 | thanks colin for tip on chal board | sigora
11/8/2017 08:49 | Think you are both right here...what an amazing turnaround with that news imo. | pre
11/8/2017 08:49 | colin12345678 11 Aug '17 - 08:48 - 7908 of 7909 0 0 Pre wait for the herd another ENTU here i feel Really?? Has entu got one of Scandinavians richest media men on board telling the Telegraph he is going to save it? This is much more meat on the bones stuff col... ;) Mr Ager-Hanssen said Johnston Press cash generation is “strong enough” to refinance the debt at an interest rate of only 3pc, compared to the current rate of 8.6pc. He said he had investors lined up to take on the debt and that shareholders can maintain control of the company, | evil_doctor_facilier
11/8/2017 08:48 | MM's will not sell any shares at 16 they spiked it to 16.75p and still will not sell online. This has the feel of a huge spike ..Just give it a few weeks /months for teh action plan, | evil_doctor_facilier

11/8/2017 08:46 | Just spotted the article...further stake increases...what a turnaround here imo..bodes well for mkt value increase imo as the swedish take further stakes here.. | pre
11/8/2017 08:44 | with no debt for equity and interest rate at 3% the company figures are transformation equity has to be worth over 50 million at teh very least!! What an opportunity here.. we are valued at just 16 million..... | evil_doctor_facilier
11/8/2017 08:26 | Equity valued at just 16 million, WOW. Huge potential on any rescue deal with the bonds by or lefty Scandinavian social justice warrior!! | evil_doctor_facilier
11/8/2017 08:22 | Top of the leader board....should get us noticed | jamdan1
11/8/2017 08:16 | What a difference a 'day' (or two) makes. I had never thought of refinancing at a lower Interest rate. That would give a longer term opportunity for the company some real merit and would suit both classes of Investor, Bond and Equity. | nick rubens

11/8/2017 08:10 | Huge news and the main factor here is that the equity is such a small part of the value calculation of the company due to its debt that it could easy double on any news that no debt for equity will take place. The company share price is prices at the moment as if a, the equity is worthless b, the shareholders have no value. Those calculations look now out of teh window!!!! huge potential for significant re-rating in the short term if this news is true..... | evil_doctor_facilier |
