09/5/2017 11:56 | Signs of strong buying last two days. Could start an optimistic rise ahead of bond restructuring proposals. Styles and Wood multi bagged after they sorted their preference share issues a few years ago on a restructure/compromi | nick rubens
06/5/2017 09:40 | ELECTION FRAUD..... and LOCAL NEWSPAPERS its worth noting that the HOLDING company for these local newspapers is AMERICAN - they are a direct competitor to Johnston Press: Johnston Press, perhaps ought to do an expose of what is going on! Votes are being "bought" | netcurtains
05/5/2017 16:14 | Yes, I would love to see existing management removed and replaced, but not sure what CA have in mind here. Any directors buying shares? | nick rubens
05/5/2017 14:43 | That's probably down to lack of any kind of leadership at JPR. | thevaluehunter
05/5/2017 11:18 | Print advertising tough, as we all expected. It looks like Digital is where it's shifting to slowly year after year, though in JPR's case Digital revenue is still only small compared to print. | nick rubens
03/5/2017 21:12 | TNI. Trading update tomorrow .There moving up . May help . So read all over the place sicknote | s34icknote
03/5/2017 15:33 | Lack of any positive corporate news could see this slowly drift to the prior 12p support level and then hopefully a bounce back up again? | nick rubens
28/4/2017 15:49 | "Moody's said its ratings action reflects Johnston Press's recent announcement that it has mandated Rothschild & Co and Ashurst LLP as advisors to a "strategic review of financing options" in relation to the GBP220 million senior secured notes." hxxp://www.morningst | nick rubens
28/4/2017 13:15 | Most of us lost faith years ago. The only glimmer of hope is CA getting involved as a major shareholder, but until they can steer this business in another direction or reform the debt somehow, then it's business as usual and that worries me. | nick rubens
28/4/2017 13:01 | Starring to lose faith in this share | obiwoncanary
27/4/2017 16:14 | Annual general meeting on 22 May in London. | nick rubens
26/4/2017 17:51 | Yep that sounds sensible with c13% effective interest rate on the bonds at the moment. Management probably want the cash for themselves. | thevaluehunter
26/4/2017 11:01 | Surely they could buy the debt at 50 percent discount and halve their debt !Or is it not that easy !Sicknote | s34icknote
26/4/2017 10:12 | My hope is that this is all part of the CA masterplan | obiwoncanary
26/4/2017 09:53 | What could JPR mkt value be on a full debt for equity swap? £220m £300m? I can't understand why JPR hasn't purchased back some of it's own debt at a discount. Every little would help. CA is the only hope and catalyst for corporate change here. Without them, the share price would have continued to zero IMO. | nick rubens
26/4/2017 08:59 | Just hope CA don't dump | obiwoncanary
26/4/2017 08:56 | I'm really not sure where this share is headed. Surely change at top is the only hope? | obiwoncanary
26/4/2017 08:30 | Three 150 k sells yesterday reason fir our fall !Sicknote | s34icknote
25/4/2017 18:30 | They are failures, lining their own pockets and only in it for themselves. Need to get them out as soon as possible. | thevaluehunter
25/4/2017 16:13 | Don't mind them being paid a cash bonus if they meet demanding targets - however, the bonus should be used to then buy shares which should be retained for a certain period. | wooster4
25/4/2017 13:38 | Salaries should be reduced in line with the destruction of shareholder value IMO, let alone whether cash or shares. | nick rubens
24/4/2017 22:51 | Well vh interesting conundrum for sure I liked where it says they don't want to dilute the stock by taking shares as a bonus (they have priced in failure already) because of excessive volatility wow from £2 to 20 p yep no wonder they want the cash, I bet some of us have more shares than all the directors have put together.Surely now we will see how the major holders behave reject or accept Can one assume that Camila would have sounded them out before setting the Agenda yes after all they own it. | dazzaa
24/4/2017 21:37 | Surely this will get voted down at the AGM. | thevaluehunter
24/4/2017 13:41 | Thanks eddy it would be good to have our personal representative there gaining an insight into how they play on the stage. I perhaps there will be a proposal of the new Chairman, possibly, and pay increases all round for the star actors on the stage but the Main Protagonist will be off stage Rich B so let's hope he doesn't disappoint. And again we see the share price dwindle away without any positive spin or an offer of positivity in our Company as if that is not part of their remit ie just do enough to survive from one funding crisis to the next skimming off the top for themselves. They have their piece of cake from JPR plus whatever other directorships are on offer. Anyway rant over. | dazzaa |
