That's true eddy but they could work with like minded holders to coerce more movement that of course may be happening, to my mind AH sees the writing on the wall and having writ what seems more an epitaph than a statement of a CEO.MoAs said the share price is relatively stable and will, should continue as long as CA are in the frame but as to planning the reduction on debt some confident sounding forecast from the chairman would have helped saying "there will be n

I definitely need something to enhance my viewing experience when I look at jpr.

Anyway, we should be excited - they're having a shareholder meeting within a month. There's bound to be fireworks! Either before, during or after. I hope that Rich B is going to be a big presence - either leading a shareholder revolt or at the very least standing on a table with a big stick in his hand, demanding AH's resignation.

Maybe this is where the bondholders emerge and take the company over while performing a debt-for-equity swap, and appoint a new board. CA is bound to be the catalyst for whatever happens, if anything happens. I suppose the worst thing that could happen would be AH and Camilla proposing their own ineffectual motions and the shareholders baa baa their acceptance. But I think, not this time.

Well as usual jpr didn't disappoint with its level of disappointment. As far as I can see, there is no good news dazz, just the same old bad news.

I'll post a bit more in a few minutes after I've taken enough pills to get my blood pressure down from macondo-well blow-out levels.

Need to convince the bondholders to take a haircut. Debt for equity? Tricky scenario but with CA involved, could come good for shareholders eventually.

samdb - indeed when it eventually goes fully digital there will be significant cost savings, the big risk though is debt levels - I've been in these kind of situations before with shareholders being wiped out on restructurings. Then again CA sees value here ...

Completely agree with. My only point is that watching for the moment it turns could lead to some good value here.

A move to digital with increasing revenues there and disposal of non-core titles at almost £1.5m each. They have around 170 titles. So all down to how the board manages the decline, disposals and move to digital.

Fingers crossed then dazz - let's hope they surprise us in a nice way. I imagine we'll all be on here before the open to see what wonderful numbers AH has for us. I daresay we'll all have something to say. If they're really bad we might even get a visit from lord crybaby. After that I intend staring sullenly at the brexit impact.
