it amazes me-all the comapny's that I own where the share price is going up-no one seems to be investing in (inc this one). BB very quite as well.
Some companies where the BB is really active, the share price seems to be dropping.
Just proves that the Private Investor can say what they want about a share and invest their couple of grand and have absoluteley NO effect on the share price Until the institutions want the share price to go up it wont-FACT.
Anyway good news is ahead for us holders of J Wood!

Wood (John Wood Group signs 92 mln usd deal with Suez

LONDON (AFX) - John Wood Group PLC, an energy services provider, said it
signed a 92 mln usd deal with French industrial group Suez SA.
Under the 16-year contract, Wood Group will provide maintainance service to
Suez's 665-megawatt power plant and gas turbines in Oman.

Got fed up with this up and down every day....hopes up in the morning only to be shattered by the afternoon........I'm now out, put my money into Uranium and watching it grow by the minute....good luck to all that have the time to wait!!

crude falling is dragging the services sector down with it WG/ABG/PFC all fallers - top up time coming.

well, no whoosh this am but then the intraday on this is so odd it will probably come at 4.25pm. A sector ripe for bid activity, so well worth holding WG/ABG/PFC at the right price.

people like FID are continually moving positions around, i wouldn't read to much into it. i'd expect a bit of a whoosh on monday for the trad update on tues.

Feel I am knocking my head against a brick wall with this one.......bought on rumours of M and A but also thought it was a solid stock to hold also....one day it ticks up nice only to trickle lower the next day........tempted to move on but will wait and see what 2007 brings.

lmd - you omitted the top line of the channel which shows the trend channel narrowing, this would explain why the share price just touched the recent highs this am then pulled back, i'd expect a breakout above the channel to 150p next.

Looking good for a move back up to at least the high 240's, bouncing successfully off a rising support.

selling seems to be mid morning then pm recovery. two days in a row it's given me the willies. quite why anyone is selling in a sector as strong as this is baffling, PFC up, ABG down ,but has higher pe and still worth a long v.soon imo.
