Why not announce the results date?

Why the rather strangely worded 'The Board remains confident that this
statement will be upheld'. It's now 4 months after the year end and 3 months after the t/s. Surely they know by now. Why upheld? Who's doing the upholding?

It just reinforces the dodginess quotient in my mind.

Plenty of 30000 sells in recent days. They were lucky weren't they as they couldn't possibly have known this was coming.

Yes somewhat of an overeaction i think.Worst case senario is they have to fork out $2.7M not good, but not the end of the world.Would like to have seen a results date though.Could be any time in the next nine weeks i guess.They should be good(second half anyway)and production is due to double from mid 2010

Maybe but there comes a point doesn't there.

Tell you what if I were CEO (which I'm not) I wouldn't be releasing the results any time soon. They would be delayed indefinitely - waiting for this dust storm to peter out, waiting for the overhang to be cleared and then release them.

If they're released tomorrow - the market wont notice them - the market will notice LEGAL PROCEEDINGS however.

This share is hovering in the 90'S because there is one million shares to sell at one euro which were aquired from jetion europe. Once these have been sold, which could be in two or three time or after a good report possibly at the end of next week, we should see a nice rise.

Really not too worried about this to be honest. Expected to get a couple of sellers on any kind of negative news. The results and ongoing success of this company will put pay to this drop in share price over a minor niggle. The company was not found to be negligent or to have produced faulty products, or to have a grieveance with any of its customers. It is simply a dispute over an order that was 3 years ago.
i honestly do not see this as having a lasting bearing on the price of JHL.

Anyone looking for a top up before results??

irony is the share price drop might reduce the market cap much more than any capital loss from being sued....... won't reflect the likelihood that the legal action against JHL won't succeed.

It equates to just over 10% of cash held at the interims FWIW
