06/3/2023 12:17 | ashkv, you are clearly deep under water only a desparate person would come up with the vitriolic diatribe that flows from your keyboard. You doubt the historic facts regarding Equinor's involvelment with JOG. Show us where Verbier deep has been qualified? Can you also state why a major holder, who took up a very significant investment, sold out at a loss? That institution was Schroders, who are amongst the very top investment Banks. What did they know? Posting on 1 company clearly bothers you, probably because the evidence is not to your liking. Tough, all you have to do is check the company records and those of it's ersthwhile partners. One of those partners, Equinor, have just agreed terms with Suncor and will operate the Buzzard field, which will be electrified. The Buzzard field is almost contiguos with GBA and Verbier. Get your celebral cells into gear, it maybe, maybe provide the answer why Equinor with all it's knowledge and experience did not take up the GBA offer from JOG. Could it be one of several reasons, they have seen and know the Verbier and GBA Data, they had the experience to be Operator, but AB wanted that mantle. Maybe the thinking has changed and Equinor will come back in. IF so, in view of the Suncor deal, why the delay? Greedy Execs at JOG? If the truth hurts so be it. Just check the facts and use a bit of nouse. It could save your skin. Never be afraid too admit a mistake! | kakapo1
06/3/2023 07:39 | Per my take - Rosbank 40% share price puts a value about 4-6x of current 189p on JOG based on Equinor Suncor deal announced first week of March 2023 :) "Equinor announced the $850m acquisition of Suncor’s UK assets, consisting of 15kbo/d net production on the Buzzard field (29.89% WI) and the Rosebank undeveloped discovery (40% WI), with $250m of the consideration contingent upon a final investment decision on Rosebank that is expected later this year." | ashkv

03/3/2023 15:52 | Do you have any experience BONES?LMAO | catchingmice
03/3/2023 15:48 | Been dripping for a few weeks a bounce was due that's all today is most likely . Watch out for the down trend to continue. Without any news I suspect this will continue to fall as it's taking far too long now without even an update . In my experience it's not usually a good sign when the price is dropping and radio silence . You can be sure someone knows something ahews or private investors who know nothing . They always get to sell out or buy before the mugs . | bones698
03/3/2023 15:28 | You mean tell Government that they should take their foot off the neck of the golden goose who was about to lay bigger and better eggs which could be even bigger during the delayed transition? Poor thing! Only thing is Labour are buying shot gun pellets. | mariopeter
03/3/2023 13:21 | Thank you all for the comments. Perhaps some news will break next week. I read that the NS Companies are lobbying the chancellor. My HBR shares could do with some help. | arcadian

03/3/2023 13:06 | Arcadian a deal done at a price that factors in Pre-FID Rosbank more than paltry 15k boepd oil production from a declining field / high decommissioning costs - "Rosebank is being developed in line with the UK Government North Sea Transition deal and the Rosebank partners are targeting a final investment decision in 2023, subject to the UK Government’s and partners’ approval. USD 250 million of the consideration is contingent upon a final investment decision for Rosebank. The Rosebank field, located about 130 km west of the Shetland Islands on the UK continental shelf, has expected recoverable resources are approximately 300 million barrels of oil. The Rosebank development has been optimised to reduce carbon emissions and the FPSO Petrojarl Knarr will be prepared for future electrification in line with the North Sea Transition Deal. The production from the field will be through subsea wells tied back to a redeployed FPSO for processing and offloading at the Rosebank field. The development cost for this project is estimated at £4.1 billion, plus a further £3.6 billion in operating expenses. If sanctioned, the Rosebank project is expected to create £8.1 billion of direct investment – including the development, operation and decommissioning of the field – based on Equinor’s projections. This is one of the previously delayed energy projects, which is currently facing additional obstacles that may hinder its progress and delay the sanctioning yet again. the final investment decision (FID) is planned for Q3 2023." | ashkv

03/3/2023 11:30 | Longboat board today via rns feeling the same as JOG did with Equinor pushing off on one of their joint discoveries. Longboat want it. Equinor walk away. Equinor will be getting a reputation. Must say when I looked at Longboat and saw they were partnering Equinor I thought no thanks and stayed away from them . Do hope JOG get away on Buchan although it is dragging on and on. World really underinvested in oil and gas and with a severe commodity drag on the transition this might be more of a goer as indeed so might be the oil in the Falklands. Time will tell but the oil price medium term looks great for oil and gas but dreadful for inflation. Morning JTS/Bones. | mariopeter
03/3/2023 10:55 | Take no notice of himI think he's been smoking some S--T to go with his coffee this morningLolThis has been way oversold and now should regain it's status back above the 2 quid level | catchingmice
03/3/2023 10:53 | ashkv, seems you do not like facts and the truth. You even have the time to trawl through real posts, what a sad person. You emphasise the problem, that anyone who points out the truth grates you and a few others. Get real. Incidentally I was a LTH here until I saw the light. You do'nt like the truth and are unable or lack the knowledge and experience to put forward any rational investment proposition. | kakapo1

03/3/2023 09:31 | Oh dear, seems the Equinor Deal with Suncors is causing the sap to rise again. Equinor is one of the biggest operators in the NS, whose assets range from exploration, production and the largest floating wind-farm in the World. Equinor were a major partner with JOG and Cieco in the Verbier field. That project fell apart when the appraisal well turned to dust. It was projected Verbier Deep had oil which has not yet been qualified and confirmed. Eventually Equinor decided to sell their 70% share to JOG for a mere pitance. At the same time Equinor as partner, were given 1st refusal to collaborate in the GBA, Equinor had the unique privilege of seeing all the data relating to the GBA, and ultimately decided resurrection of this old field was not for them and walked away. This was a blow to JOG as Equinor were uniquely placed to electrify the Field being operator of the huge floating wind-farm off the NE Coast of Scotland. It has been argued Equinor being under control of Norwegian Government were retracting from operations in the UKCS. This proposition is wrong, Equinor are exploring and developing several assets in the UK sector, including Rosebank where they hold a 30% stake as operator alongside Iithica, who have been tacitly stated could be involved in the GBA. As always time will tell. Investors need to keep eyes open and expect the unexpected. Hopefully the end of the Rainbow will emerge and not disappoint, by the end of the month. DYOR. GLA | kakapo1
